General Information & Guidelines Directions to Lake Wales CC From Orlando or points north, take State Road 27 south until you reach State Road 60. Take 60 East through Lake Wales, approximately 3.5 miles. The club entrance is located on your left across from the fire department. From Sebring or points south, take State Road 27 north until you reach State Road 60. Take 60 east and proceed as above. From Tampa or points west, take State Road 60 east to Lake Wales, crossing over State Road 27, and proceed as above. From Vero Beach or points east, take State Road 60 west to Lake Wales approximately 55 miles; you will see the large stone 10-foot wall surrounding the club on your right with entrance across from the fire department.
Catering Office Hours Tuesday through Thursday, 10:00am-4:00pm Please phone ahead to schedule an appointment during these hours to assure that someone will be readily available to show you our facility and dedicate quality time to planning your special event. 863-676-2422 ext. 223. Billing and Deposits After your initial meeting, the Banquet Coordinator will contact you with price quotes. A second appointment will be scheduled to sign the contract and a 25% deposit will be required. A total attendance count will be required 10 working days prior to the event. At that time, all arrangements are final. Unless special arrangements have been made by the Banquet Coordinator, the balance of the bill is due the day of the function. All deposits for securing the date of your event are non-refundable. Food & Beverage All food and beverages will be supplied from the Club with the exception of birthday cakes or wedding cakes purchased from reputable outlets. This is in accordance with state health and A.T.F. regulations. Food and/or beverages are not permitted to leave the premises after a catered function. When more than one entrée is requested, guest count per entrée will need to be provided 10 days prior to the event. Room and Amenity Charges (Capacity required is determined by amenities requested.) Valencia Ballroom Full room will seat 250-300. $500.00 Valencia Ballroom Half room will seat 100-150. $250.00 Grove Room Full room will seat 32. $95.00 Dance Floor Fee $150.00 Bartender Fee $150.00 Cake-Cutting Fee $125.00 Set-up & Breakdown Fee $125.00 The above room charges are non-negotiable. Management reserves the right to charge an additional $50.00 for the first hour and $100.00 for each additional hour past the scheduled departure time. Liabilities The Club cannot assume responsibility for personal property and/or equipment brought on the premises. Liability for damage to Club property will be charged to the billing signature on the contract. The Management reserves
the right to inspect and control all private functions with guest safety in mind as well as in the best interest of the Club. Outside Services If outside services (i.e., florist, music, special equipment suppliers, etc.) are to be contracted by the Club at the patron s request, a 20% charge will be added to the contract. The Banquet Coordinator will be happy to suggest vendors preferred by the Club at no additional charge. However, the Club will not be held responsible for services booked by the patron. Service Charge and Tax Requirements All food, beverage and amenity charges are subject to a 7% state tax and an 18% gratuity.
