Assessment News: Wednesday, October 11 th is a college and career day at DCC. A special schedule will be released when we get closer to the day. Below are the activities that are scheduled: Freshmen ICAP activities and a guest speaker Sophomores Practice PSAT 10 test. This is an in-house exam and results are not registered with College Board. Juniors PSAT NMSQT test will be given to those who sign up. Juniors can qualify for the National Merit Scholarship if scores are high enough. Cost is $17. Juniors must sign up before September 19 with Ms. Teeples in the administration office or on Pay-For-It. Those juniors who do not take the PSAT NMSQT test will take the ASVAB test a multiple aptitude battery that measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success in the military. There is no cost to the ASVAB test. Seniors Senior Service Project and other activities. Room listings for the tests and other activities will be posted throughout the hallways and by the attendance office the week of the October 11. Student scores for SAT, PSAT 10, CMAS, and PARCC will be returned to students this week. Please ask your student to see them.
