Hentley Farm Set among the rolling hills on the banks of Greenock Creek at Seppeltsfield, Hentley Farm is a boutique, single estate vineyard that produces distinctive wines reflective of the exceptional site. Founders Keith & Alison Hentschke researched for years to find a Barossa Valley site that would produce world class single estate wines. Hentley Farm Winemaker Hentley Farm s chief winemaker Andrew Quin has taken a slightly unusual road to winemaking, transitioning from his original field of study horticulture. For Andrew, winemaking provided an unparalleled opportunity to combine scientific knowledge with his artistic flair, in the pursuit of creating something that others could enjoy...great wine! In his initial years, Andrew travelled and worked around the Northern hemisphere, starting in California with premium Sonoma producer St Francis winery before heading to the old world where he worked for wine negociant Jacques Lurton in the Languedoc. Andrew returned to Australia with one question in mind... 'which region most suits my winemaking style and passion for wine?' The answer was simple - the mighty Barossa, where big, bold reds are the signature, and complex, textural whites a discovery. Andrew has influenced the evolution of Hentley Farm s vineyard in creating wines that highlight the complexity of our site, the natural soft elegant tannins and a vibrancy of fruit. Hentley Farm Restaurant Housed in the property s intimate and elegantly restored stables, the Hentley Farm Restaurant is set amongst the vines and completes the Hentley Farm food and wine experience. Day 1 ARRIVAL DAY Morning Arrive at Adelaide Airport and be met by your personal concierge. Private transfer to the InterContinental Adelaide, check in to your Presidential Suite. Late Morning Travel by private limousine with your concierge to Cleland Wildlife Park a paradise for Australia's unique animals. Your concierge will travel with you to attend to anything that you need along the way. 11:00am Arrive at Cambourne Boutique Accommodation, your home in the Barossa Valley for the next three nights. Day 3 WINEMAKING PRINCIPLES 8:30am Enjoy a hearty breakfast prepared especially for you at the Cambourne Boutique Accommodation by your chef. 10:30am A short walk through the beautiful vineyard will see you arrive at the winery. You will work with Andrew Quin, ambassador for Barossa wine and winemaker, learn about wine blending and make your own Barossa Valley wine blend under the professional assistance. 12:30pm We will invite you to enjoy a lunch outdoors at the winery and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the vineyard. (This itinerary will be best arranged according to weather conditions). 1:30pm 5:00pm Tour in your private limousine across the Barossa Valley wine region visiting famous wineries such as: Seppeltsfield - the winery has a long history and is the only winery in the world that produces a hundred-year-old fortified wine. You might have a chance to taste the vintage fortified wine back from your birth year. Penfolds (Nuriootpa) - Penfolds Winery is regarded as a symbol of Australian wine and is known as the aristocrat of the Australian wine industry. The multi-region and multi-variety wines represent the Penfolds winemaking philosophy and unremitting quest for excellence quality. Wolf Blass winery (Nuriootpa) - You can taste 'Black from the Barrel' and admire the works of famous Australian artists. Barossa Distillers You will be tasting Barossa finest gin. All ingredients are sourced from local spices, fruits and botanicals. Day 4 PENFOLDS TOUR 8:30am Enjoy a hearty breakfast prepared especially for you at the Cambourne Boutique Accommodation. 10:00am Your private Barossa Helicopter will take off from the Barossa Valley and fly to the home of Penfolds at Magill Estate the birthplace of the world-famous Grange, east of the city of Adelaide. 10:45am After a short tour of the Estate, you will enjoy a unique tasting of Penfolds wines including Grange in the private wine tasting room. This historic cellar will give you a good knowledge of the history of the wine industry in South Australia. 12:00pm You will be treated to an exclusive, private luxury lunch at the Penfolds Barrel Room prepared by the executive chef and served with the Grange and other recommended luxury Penfolds wines. 3:30pm Limousine private transfer to your Cambourne Boutique Accommodation. 7:00pm A gourmet dinner prepared by the executive chef at Hentley Farm Winery Restaurant to end your day. Day 5 MAKING YOUR WINE 8:30am Your day will again start with the chef preparing you and your guest a hearty breakfast prepared especially for you at the Cambourne Boutique Accommodation. 9:30am 11:30am Working with the senior winemaker, you will conduct the final blending of your own private label luxury wine. You will then approve your own back label with your names applied as co-winemakers. The wines will then be sent to the bottling plant to be packed (800 bottles) for shipment to your home address anywhere in the world. 12:00pm - 1:00pm Enjoy a relaxing barbecue with local specialities for lunch, overlooking the vines. After lunch, you may choose to go for a round of golf on the Barossa Golf Club, conduct a customised winery tour (including legendary wineries such as Yalumba, Jacob s Creek, and Henschke) or enjoy an afternoon at leisure, visiting local towns such as Tanunda, Nuriootpa or Angaston. 7:00pm - 9:00pm Your concierge will take you in your private limousine to the St Hugo Winery Restaurant (which is a premium brand owned by French company Pernod Ricard). You will be enjoying the exquisite foods created by the executive chef based on their wine list. 9:00pm Return to Cambourne Boutique Accommodation to end another fulfilling day. Day 6 FAREWELL & LEISURE 9:00am Your chef will prepare a luxury breakfast at Hentley Farm. 10:30am After farewelling the Hentley Farm team, your concierge will accompany you by private limousine to Adelaide city, where you will check in to your InterContinental VIP Suite. 12:00pm An afternoon at leisure in Adelaide city centre awaits you. You are welcome to visit the South Australian Museum and the Art Gallery of South Australia, then strolling in the beautiful University of Adelaide. You can also visit the shopping precinct, Rundle Mall to purchase some jewellery at Tiffany & Co or select an Australian Opal. Alternately, a visit to Adelaide Zoo awaits. 6:00pm Your limousine and concierge will take you to a luxurious dinner overlooking the city of Adelaide at 2KW Bar and Restaurant. Day 7 DEPARTURE Check out of your hotel. A limousine transfer to Adelaide Airport will be provided. Departure with Cathay Pacific or your preferred airline from Adelaide Airport to your home city. 800 bottles of your luxury wine will be air freighted direct to your home address as soon as bottled and packed by Hentley Farm.
