Cabrini High School Organizations for Volunteer Service 2017 2018 The following is a list of approved sites you may want to use for your service hours. Please note that this is not a complete list and other possibilities exist. You may volunteer at any non-profit (not privately owned) organization which provides a service to the community, but you must have written permission if said organization is not on this list. Permission must be requested by filling out the Community Service Proposal Form, located on the Cabrini website, under the Service Sites drop-down menu. **As a reminder, Juniors and Seniors must serve directly with people in need.** Please keep in mind that many of these organizations may have restrictions on age, time, etc. Service hours should be scheduled as soon as possible as many other schools also require service hours. Many places do fill up fast. If you have any questions about service hours or need approval for a service organization not listed below, contact the Campus Ministry office at 504-483-8690. **Altar Serving at a Church Parish is approved (for new students begin with your date of acceptance to Cabrini High School to count hours.) **Parish Fairs are approved. **Vacation Bible Schools/Bible Camps/CCD & CYO programs are approved. **All Summer Camps served at a non-profit are approved, except Cabrini Summer Camp, which only counts towards the annual star award. **Public Libraries are approved. **The Girl Scouts of America is approved
