Group Travel at the Kirklees Light Railway Thank you for your interest in hosting a group visit to the Kirklees Light Railway. Please find below and overleaf some information for our 2019 season. Our standard group rate information is outlined the details below: Railway Operational Day 15-29 people 30+ people Adult 6 5.50 Child (3-16 years) 5 4.50 Child (under 3 years) FREE FREE Railway Non-Operational Day If the railway is closed to the public on the day you wish to visit, you are able to charter a train, and prices start from 200 for a steam locomotive. It is worth noting that drivers and guides travel for free and receive free light refreshments. We have a large, free car park at Clayton West Station. Trips are available for only 50p per person please do request at the time of booking! Engine Shed & Workshop Tours One of our experienced engineers would be happy to take your group on a tour of the railway s workshop and engine shed, should this be of interest to you. Please specify at the time of booking so we can make the necessary arrangements. This activity is free of charge.
