Beverage options You may choose to set-up a Bar Tab to a predetermined amount with a specific selection of drinks available to your guests, for example you may allow beer, wine & soft drink on your tab, guests may then purchase spirits if they wish, or you may choose an open bar where there are no restrictions on what your guest would like to drink. A deposit of a minimum of $20.00 per person must be paid 7 days in advance for all dry till arrangements. Mackay Golf Club s Terms & Conditions How to Secure your Event Mackay Golf Club requires written confirmation along with a deposit in order to secure your booking. Please complete & sign the attached confirmation form and return with payment. Tentative bookings will be held for 7 days and may be cancelled without notice Payment Schedule A deposit of $500 is required to secure your booking Returned completed Booking Confirmation Final numbers are required 7 days prior to your event * Full payment is required prior to your event * please note final numbers indicates the minimum number you will be invoiced for. (Mackay Golf requires a minimum of 50 adult guests to confirm your booking) Cancellation Policy Written notification of cancellation up to 4 months prior to your event will incur no penalty, all deposited funds will be refunded Written notification of cancellation up to 2 months prior to your event 50% of deposited funds will be refunded Notice of cancellation within 30 days prior - All deposited funds are non-refundable Within 72 hours prior - 100% of all conference charges will be invoiced Licensing Regulations BYO Alcohol is not permitted onto the premises Minors & intoxicated patrons will be refused service Serious fines exist for minors who obtain alcohol on a licenses premises for both the venue and the individual. Weddings at MACKAY GOLF CLUB Ceremony s at the Mackay Golf Club Mackay Golf Club is the ideal venue for your 1 stop wedding ceremony and reception. Our garden backdrop and podium provide the perfect atmosphere to begin your lives together as a couple. $500.00 Includes Ceremony backdrop and podium 20 Chairs Red carpet 3 Golf buggies for on course photos Staff member to assist at all times Receptions at the Mackay Golf Club Choose your Menu from the packages provided. Our room hire for weddings is $1000.00 which includes bridal table skirting, up to 100 chair covers and bows, Cake table and gift table skirting, table cloths, cloth serviettes, lectern and microphone, stereo background music, and basic centre pieces. Staff setup and table service, projector and screen, dance floor, access to outdoor area for predinner savouries. You may choose to have your cake served as dessert, a discount of $2.50 is allowed on all 3 course menus and your cake is then plated and served with cream coulis and decoration. The cakeage fee is $7.50 if not having a 3-course meal.
