Zuccardi Serie A These wines demonstrate the quality potential of hand-picked grapes from Argentina s many micro-climates and soils to create wines of singular character. Zuccardi Serie A Malbec 2014 The 2014 Malbec Serie A is sourced from different vineyards across the Valle de Uco (Tupungato, El Peral, Gualtallary, Vista Flore and La Consulta). The nose is extremely aromatic, all flowers and plants: it smells like the countryside. The most common plant in Mendoza and particularly in the Valle de Uco between the vineyards and the mountains is rockrose, and the wine really smells of rockrose and its sticky resinous leaves. The aroma is also found in many wines from the Douro in Portugal where the plant is also very abundant. This is basically unoaked, raw and a bit wild, making it really showy and captivating. The palate has the telltale tannins of the grape that are soft and round with a very welcomed, dry finish as I find many wines that are far too sweet in this price segment. Wild Malbec to buy by the case and have with the barbecue. Bravo! 90 points The Wine Advocate 08/15 UPC # 0 89832 84952 0 Zuccardi Serie A Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 Warm aromas of ripe summer berries, cinnamon, cola, black pepper, and light tobacco. Round on the palate with blackberry and cassis, over touches of coffee, smoke, and dried herbs. Soft finish with a note of caramel. Good house pour. Santé 01/16 87 points Wine Enthusiast 02/16 2014 Clean, tangy and spicy with lively plum fruit and racy acidity; fresh and long. 88 points Tasting Panel 10/16 UPC # 0 89832 84958 2 Zuccardi Serie A Torrontés 2014 The nose reminds me more of a Gewürztraminer than a Moscatel, with the spicy part being quite dominant with pungent notes of herbs (even oregano). This is an especially spicy year and the nose is not overpowering, but is more subtle than in your face. The palate is very fresh, with pungent flavors and that faint bitter aftertaste so typical of the variety. Sebastian Zuccardi is starting to keep 300 bottles each vintage to follow the evolution, which to me is the next step in Torrontés. He tells me the wine from 2010 is fantastic now. So the drinking window of Torrontés is still work in progress. I d like to follow this wine over three or four years to see how it ages. 90 points The Wine Advocate 08/15 This is the only wine from Zuccardi that comes from outside Mendoza. It s a light, perfumed, floral style that doesn t show any of the oiliness that Torrontés is prone to. Crisp and refreshing, it s also got some leesderived weight. Drink: 2015-16. 90 points Tim Atkin Argentina Special Report 2015 89 points Wine Enthusiast 10/15 Zuccardi Serie A Torrontés 2015 91 points James Suckling Argentina Tasting Report 2016 UPC # 0 89832 84951 3 Zuccardi Serie A Bonarda 2013 The 2013 Serie A Bonarda is sourced from vineyards planted in 1979 in Santa Rosa, a department east of Mendoza, at 650 meters altitude with sandy soils. It is a warmer place and a traditional zone for Bonarda. Here they are searching for simple vinification, almost without oak, aiming for the red fruit character as well as aromas of red licorice and a juicy palate. Round and easy to drink, with the freshness of the vintage, it is often consumed in Argentina with Italian food, pasta and pizza. Yumm! Drink now. 87 points The Wine Advocate 04/14 87 points Wine Enthusiast 07/15 Good Value Wine & Spirits 06/15 UPC # 0 89832 84954 4

Zuccardi Q These are wines of the highest quality, made from the oldest vines, of up to 40 years of age, under supervision of a specialized viticultural team (that actually marks the individual vines destined for this line with a Q for Quality ). These wines see 10 16 months in oak and are only made in vintages of exceptional quality. Zuccardi Q Chardonnay 2013 Lemon-yellow with green hues. Notes of white fruitspeaches, pears, apples - are well integrated with the notes in the fermentation and oak-aging process: vanilla, white chocolate, and toasted bread. Unctuous, balanced finish. 2015 87 points Wine Enthusiast 07/16 92 points James Suckling Argentina Tasting Report 2016 UPC # 0 89832 84672 7 Zuccardi Q Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 Finely crafted, with touches of elegance and plenty of freshness to the plum, cherry tart and boysenberry flavors, accented by forest floor notes. Mineral and spice details fill the lively finish. Drink now through 2019. 90 points Wine Spectator 09/30/15 2013 A mental picture of Indian food popped in my head when I put my nose in the glass of the 2013 Q Cabernet Sauvignon because it smells of curry, nutmeg, flowers and nuts. This is a blend of grapes from Gualtallary and la Consulta, both in the Uco Valley. In reality is not all Cabernet, but the Cabernet is partly co-fermented with Malbec (perhaps the reason why it doesn t really feel like Cabernet). The palate is juicy and spicy with a mixture of earthy and sweet tannins and very good freshness. There is a notable absence of green notes because the region is warm and the grapes ripen fully. 90 points Wine Advocate 08/15 A refined and savory red, featuring notes of white pepper to the cherry and crushed red plum flavors. Lengthens out on the palate, with medium-grained tannins. Silky finish. Drink now through 2020. 91 points Wine Spectator 10/31/16 UPC # 7 58730 00909 0 Zuccardi Q Malbec 2013 The 2013 Malbec Q is sourced from La Consulta (Altamira) and Vista Flores. This wine has changed since 2010; now only 30% to 50% of the wine is oaked and the rest is matured in cement vats. The oak is imperceptible, and there are plenty of aromas of violets and blueberries with some aromatic herbs, all fruit. What Sebastian Zuccardi looks for is to have some herbal/countryside aromas and a lively palate with good acidity, which is what you find here. This is really tasty, with a fine, chalky tannin (from Altamira?) and just plain great. Drink 2015-2019. 91 points The Wine Advocate 08/15 Now sourced from Altamira and Vista Flores, this Malbec reflects the revolution that has swept through this winery in the last five years. Blackcurrant pastille, a touch of liquorice, some red fruit sweetness and the freshness of a cooler year. Drink: 2015-18. 92 points Tim Atkin Argentina Special Report 2015 92 points James Suckling Argentina Tasting Report 2015 2014 92 points, Silver Decanter 92 points Tim Atkin Argentina Special Report 2016 91 points James Suckling Argentina Tasting Report 2016 88 points Wine Enthusiast 12/16 UPC # 7 58730 00908 3 Zuccardi Q Tempranillo 2011 Spicy, earthy aromas of dark fruits turn more charred and lemony as this opens. The palate is plump, full-bodied and oaky. Flavors of buttery oak, toast, peppercorn and baked berry fruits finish woody and drawing. 88 points Wine Enthusiast 02/15 90 points Tim Atkin Argentina Special Report 2014 2012 90 points Tim Atkin Argentina Special Report 2015 UPC # 7 58730 00906 9

The result of the Zuccardi family s pioneering spirit and vision and the realization of José Alberto Zuccardi s personal dream of blending his finest Malbec and Tempranillo fruit from the company s vineyards in Maipu and Santa Rosa, Mendoza. The marriage of Malbec fruit; so much at the very heart of the Argentinean wine industry with Tempranillo; the Zuccardi s own success story, is symbolic of the marriage of heritage with a flair for innovation, the signature of Familia Zuccardi wines. Zuccardi Emma Bonarda 2013 The 2013 Emma Zuccardi Bonarda is 50% grapes from Altamira, 40% from a 1,400-meter altitude parcel planted in 1992 in San José in Tupungato and the rest from the traditional, old pergola in Santa Rosa. It s all fermented in concrete with only 5% of the wine going into used oak barrels. Quite dark-colored, it has earthy aromas and a clear Bonarda rusticity (tree bark). What is different here is the electric freshness in the palate. With a little bit of time it even develops flowery aromas and turns a lot more elegant. This is an unbelievable elegant Bonarda. Drink 2015-2019. 91 points The Wine Advocate 08/15 Aged in fourth use barrels (unlike the concrete only Mendoza Emma Bonarda), this shows the classic limestone characters of Altamira as well as the potential quality of the grape. The oak is just apparent here, enhanced by spicy, plummy fruit. Drink: 2016-22. 94 points Tim Atkin Argentina Special Report 2015 2014 92 points James Suckling Argentina Tasting Report 2016 94 points Tim Atkin Argentina Special Report 2016 UPC # 0 89832 84957 5 Zuccardi Tito 2012 The 2012 Tito Zuccardi is named after Sebastian Zuccardi s grandfather who created the winery. The grapes are sourced from La Consulta and it is a blend that changes with each vintage. In 2012, it was 66% Malbec, 12% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Ancelotta (an Italian grape from Emilia Romagna with high color and acidity) and 10% Caladoc (a cross between Garnacha and Malbec from the south of France). Part of the whole-clusters are used for the fermentation in cement vats. The nose is clean, subtle, and elegant, with well-integrated oak as well as faint notes of spices and smoke. The palate is elegant and the texture of the tannins clearly reflects the chalky origin of the soils. This calcareous blend offers great purity, freshness, and personality. It is drinking well and should also age. Drink now-2019. 92 points The Wine Advocate 04/14 Fleshy, herbal black-fruit aromas include mild leafy notes. This blend of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Ancellotta and Caladoc is intense in feel, with chewy depth and mild tannins. Meaty, baked flavors of boysenberry and blackberry finish solid, with creaminess and herbal notes. Drink through 2020. 92 points Wine Enthusiast 10/15 90 points Wine Spectator 08/15 2013 The red blend 2013 Tito Zuccardi feels a little mainstream next to wines like the Concreto, perhaps it s the spicy, roasted aromas from the oak and high ripeness that usually implies alcohol. It s mostly Malbec that is co-fermented with some 10% Cabernet and 12% of the unusual Italian red Ancelotta, all sourced from Altamira in the Valle de Uco. The blend might change with the vintage, but the origin will always be Altamira. Sebastian likes Ancelotta in the blends and this has a vegetal freshness. The nose mixes the violets and blue fruit with plenty of aromatic herbs and spices with a faint lactic hint. There is purity and elegance under the power, with fine minerality and a remarkable finish. Drink 2015-2020. 92 points The Wine Advocate 08/15 Beautiful purity on the nose dominated by notes of roses, lavender, gorgeous black fruits and a hint of spices. Fantastic concentration on the palate, still a little young but the structure is perfect, black fruit flavors are intense and the length is stunning. This wine is full of finesse and contrast, showing austerity and opulence at the same time - a masterpiece! 96 points, Platinum Best Blend Decanter 92 points James Suckling Argentina Tasting Report 2016 UPC # 0 89832 84959 9 Zuccardi Concreto 2014 The wild nose of the new 2014 Concreto Malbec transported me to the Northern Rhône (Côte-Rôtie), or even better the Valais mountains in Switzerland. It is fermented and matured in concrete vats, hence its name. The grapes come from a very calcareous soil in Altamira in the Uco Valley. The nose mixes the violet aromas and those wild herbs, rockrose and spices, but also a saline side, and a mix of black olives and smoke. Raspberry leaf perhaps? There is a different character, they have taken away all that gives sweetness to the wine, searched for chalky soils, used part of full clusters and only cement was used for the fermentation and élevage. The wine is dry, but the tannins are sweet. There is very good length and persistence here. A naked Malbec. I believe this wine might have a beautiful evolution in bottle and it would be even better in a fresh vintage. Groundbreaking Malbec! An awesome value for money too! Drink 2015-2022. 95 points The Wine Advocate 08/15 2015 93 points James Suckling Argentina Tasting Report 2016 UPC # 0 89832 84922 3

The style of this blend is classic, but quite ripe, with aromas of black fruit, generous spices, licorice and fennel and some texture of the wood tannins. Drink now-2019. 91 points The Wine Advocate 04/14 This Malbec-led blend opens with grapy black-fruit aromas. The palate is saturated through and through, while intensely ripe flavors of blackberry, cassis and black plum finish long but not aggressive. This comes across as being well polished and smooth; drink through 2022. 92 points, Cellar Selection Wine Enthusiast 10/15 A firm and nicely framed red, with notes of hot stone to the dark berry and roasted plum flavors. Graphite and mineral elements show midpalate. The finish offers good cut to the Asian spice accents. Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon. Drink now through 2018. 90 points Wine Spectator 08/15 Saturated bright ruby to the rim. Very restrained aromas of violet, bitter chocolate, black pepper and minerals. Densely packed and juicy, conveying an impression of almost peppery energy to the flavors of blackberry and exotic spices. This fine-grained, vinous blend has the building tannins and harmonious acidity to evolve gracefully in bottle. 90+ points Stephen Tanzer s International Wine Cellar 02/15 90 points Tim Atkin Argentina Special Report 2015 2012 The 2012 Zeta is a blend of mostly Malbec from Altamira and some 10-15% of Cabernet Sauvignon from Gualtallary. This was previously a very traditional wine. However, the 2012 has seen a dramatic change. It used to be quite ripe and marked by new oak and now it s basically the opposite. Even in this warm vintage there is very good freshness (it has 14.5% alcohol) and only a small percentage of new oak is used with the rest kept in used barrels and cement vats. This might have extra complexity from the Cabernet that also adds backbone to the Malbec. 91 points The Wine Advocate 08/15 2013 91 points Wine Enthusiast 12/16 UPC # 0 89832 84840 0

Lead by Sebastian Zuccardi and starting in 2000, Zuccardi began making wines from grapes grown in the Uco Valley. Sebastian is bringing a new determination to explore Argentina s many micro-climate and soils. Zuccardi Aluvional Malbec La Consulta 2009 The Aluvional wines are vinified in concrete eggs without epoxy lining. The fruit undergoes a cold soak, and the wines are raised in new French oak from different coopers each year for 24 months. The 2009 Zuccardi Aluvional La Consulta is the first of two wines designed to translate the terroir of the region. From vines planted in 1974 on silt-sand-clay soil (13-15% clay content with a deep soil profile). The nose is pure and lifted with a dab of alcohol, but underneath lies ripe black cherry and creme de cassis fruit that demonstrates impressive clarity. The palate is fullbodied with copious, lascivious, sweet, ripe black fruit. The tannins are quite soft and crisp, with good acidity and a sweet, intense finish that shows impressive vivacity. This is primal, but should evolve with style. Drink 2014-2025. 90 points The Wine Advocate 10/12 Bright ruby-red. Vibrant nose offers blackberry, cassis, licorice, violet and menthol. Juicy and fresh, with a firm acid spine but also a fine-grained, generous, accessible texture. Perfumed and not at all overly sweet in the mouth. Finishes with refined tannins, sexy oak notes and impressive length and chewy depth. A very classy malbec. 91 points Stephen Tanzer s International Wine Cellar Mar/Apr 13 Zuccardi Aluvional Malbec La Consulta 2010 Dark yet fresh, featuring concentrated black fruit notes backed by toasted Asian spices, smoke and tar nuances that gain momentum though the long, structured and floral finish. Malbec. Drink now through 2019. 93 points Wine Spectator 11/15/13 The 2010 Aluvional La Consulta, from vines planted in 1974 at 1,000 meters altitude on sand, clay and rocky soils, is fermented in cement and aged in a mixture of used and (little) new oak. The nose is delineated with pure aromas of red fruit (cherries, strawberries) as well as elegant notes of violets and roses. Medium to full-bodied, it has sweet, round tannins and a long finish lifted by the alcohol. Drink 2014-2020. 92 points The Wine Advocate 04/14 Initial oak-based scents of plastic and rubber give way to minerality and stony aromas of cassis and plum. In the mouth, this youngster is wide, jammy, fleshy and chewy. Flavors of earthy, loamy black fruits and licorice pick up herb, spice and anise flavors on a forward-leaning finish. Drink from 2015 2020. 92 points, Cellar Selection Wine Enthusiast 07/14 Zuccardi Aluvional Malbec La Consulta 2011 The 2011 Aluvional La Consulta feels riper and a little more powerful and concentrated than the 2010 with a mixture of red and black fruit, damsons and blackberries. The palate is full-bodied with round, buttery tannins and ripe flavors with well-integrated alcohol. Drink now-2020. 93 points The Wine Advocate 04/14 Shows a minerally essence to the bright flavors of cherry, plum and cigar box, with bright acidity and muscular tannins. The well-sculpted finish has slate and pepper details. Drink now through 2017. 91 points Wine Spectator 02/28/14 Zuccardi Aluvional Malbec La Consulta 2012 94 points, Cellar Selection Wine Enthusiast 10/15 UPC # 0 89832 84897 4 Zuccardi Aluvional Malbec El Peral 2009 Dark yet fresh, featuring concentrated black fruit notes backed by toasted Asian spices, smoke and tar nuances that gain momentum though the long, structured and floral finish. Malbec. Drink now through 2019. 93 points Wine Spectator 9/11/13 This inky, concentrated, ultraripe Malbec is one of the best wines Zuccardi has produced. Aromas of blueberry, cassis, graphite and chocolate feed into a generous palate with creamy oak, mocha, baked berry and cassis flavors. The finish is lusty and big, but not biting, so you can drink this beauty anytime from now through 2017. 93 points, Editor s Choice Wine Enthusiast 12/13 The 2009 Zuccardi Aluvional El Peral is from vines planted in 1917 in Tupungato. It has a very pure, intense bouquet that is very similar to the La Consulta blend due to the oak regime. The palate is sweet and pure with succulent ripe tannins. It shows a little more finesse than the La Consulta blend, with a silky smooth blueberry and iodine-driven, floral finish. Drink 2014-2025. 92 points The Wine Advocate 10/12 UPC # 0 89832 84889 9

Sebastian is bringing a new determination to explore Argentina s many micro-climate and soils. Zuccardi Aluvional Altamira 2011 The 2011 Aluvional Altamira is pure Malbec planted at 1,100 meters in soils with big boulders and a high chalk content in Altamira, which produces serious, elegant but a little backward wines. It opens with shy aromas of black cherries and blueberries, ripe, yet terse, vibrant and very harmonious, then moves on to a medium-bodied palate, that is powerful but without showing it in an obvious way. This is a superb example of the character of Altamira through the Malbec grape. Drink now-2020. 94 points The Wine Advocate 04/14 Vibrant and fresh-tasting, showing good lift to the dark plum, licorice and black cherry flavors. Floral accents linger alongside spice and woodsy notes on the finish. Well-balanced, with a savory essence. It opens with opulent aromas of wild herbs and violets, very showy and elegant, and has a medium-bodied palate with extremely polished, glossy tannins and a sweet texture. It is fluid and very drinkable. Drink now-2018. 93 points The Wine Advocate 04/14 Plush and rich-tasting, with concentrated aromas and flavors of blackberry, dark plum and dark currant. This first one is phenomenal. The 2011 Finca Los Membrillos from a single vineyard located in La Consulta at 1,090 meters on the border with Altamira on calcareous soils. The grapes are vinified by soil type in egg-shaped cement vats. For this wine he only used the grapes from the deeper soils as he feels the more shallow soils end up drying the tannins. It has a bright purple color and an elegant, subtle and intense nose, displaying notes of ripe peach, flowers, red fruit and unnoticeable oak. The palate displays abundant ripe, fine-grained tannins and juicy fruit, a touch of alcohol, and a tasty and long finish, with a texture that is very specific. The floral character of the wine doesn t make it feel like a pure Cabernet Sauvignon, which it is. A great wine, independent of grape variety, showing the place, not only over the process, but also above the variety used. Bravo! Drink 2014-2025. 94 points The Wine Advocate 04/14 Offers impressive structure and freshness to the black olive, dark plum, mincemeat and cherry tart flavors, which are long and well-spiced. Hints of dried ginger midpalate give this an exotic touch, leading to an airy, crisp finish. The soils are calcareous rocks with a little bit of topsoil to keep some freshness and control the Cabernet tannins. The wine has the granular tannins of Cabernet, the only giveaway of the grapes used, as the sense of place seems to be more intense than the fruit. There is more ripeness in this 2012. This is a great expression of the calcareous soils through Cabernet Sauvignon. Drink 2015-2025. 95 points The Wine Advocate 04/14 A lightly charred, foresty nose includes aromas of blackberry, cassis, hard spices, licorice and leather. This is lively but balanced in terms of feel, with richness and raciness playing off each other. Flavors of baked black fruits, peppery spice and licorice finish dark, long and bright, with juicy acidity that will keep this healthy for years to come. Lead by Sebastian Zuccardi and starting in 2000, Zuccardi began making wines from grapes grown in the Uco Valley. Sebastian is bringing a new determination to explore Argentina s many micro-climate and soils. Zuccardi Finca Piedra Infinita 2012 The 2012 Finca Piedra Infinita is from new vineyards in Altamira, a specific zone within La Consulta in the south of the Uco Valley, selected from a very calcareous zone with lots of chalky stones. It is the most mineral and serious wine I ve tasted from Zuccardi, with big bones and a serious, balanced and subtle character that is elegant and sharp. The finish is long, vertical, vibrant and... well, mineral is the only word. Of course, this is a stylistic preference, but this is my favorite (and it also happened tasting the unoaked and unbottled 2013 blind). Around 2,500 bottles were produced as they really decide vine by vine which grapes go into this wine. A world class red. Bravo! Drink now-2025. 96 points The Wine Advocate 04/14 This fruit-driven, minerally Malbec hails from the Altamira section of Mendoza s Uco Valley. Blueberry, cassis and stony aromas feed into a deep, pure palate with plenty to offer. Flavors of cassis, blackberry, peppercorn and exotic spices finish with moderate tannins and flavors of fig and black pepper. Drink through 2019. 92 points Wine Enthusiast 07/15 This is filled with dark chocolate and dried blackberry flavors that offer a rich, creamy texture. Shows good cut to the bramble and mineral notes, with an effusively spicy finish. The palate is medium to full-bodied (though riper than in the Piedra Infinita). It has glossy tannins and a faint liqueur note toward the finish, This is a great, hedonistic Malbec. Drink now-2019. 93 points The Wine Advocate 04/14 Initially this is a touch jumpy and nervy smelling, but with airing it shows elegant blueberry, cassis and mineral notes that aren t just big and brawny. A flush, bold mouthfeel delivers on the promise of the bouquet, while ripe plum, blackberry, pepper, herb and saline flavors finish savory and dark, with chocolaty notes and ripped muscularity. Drink this staunch Malbec from 2017 through 2023. 94 points, Editor s Choice Wine Enthusiast 10/15 A muscular red, with lots of power to the blackberry, dark plum and dark currant flavors, accented by notes of black olive and mocha. The richly spiced finish features dark chocolate and pepper. Drink now through 2021. 91 points Wine Spectator 06/30/15 95 points James Suckling Argentina Tasting Report 2015 UPC # 0 89832 84920 9
