SAKE is a Japanese rice wine made primarily from three main ingredients; rice, water and something called Koji. Junmaishu is sake made only with rice and water. All chuhai is served with ice cube and lime slice to garnish. Lime Chuhai - lime cordial, shochu, vodka, soda water and lime slice. Mango and Apple Chuhai - mango and apple juice, soda water, shochu, jin. Yuzu Chuhai - yuzu juice, soda water, mirin, shochu, jin. Aloe Vera Chuhai - aloe vera, soda water, shochu, vodka. UMESHU (PLUM WINE) - served with crushed ice. KISHU MONOGATARI UMESHU - Wakayama, 15% - The juice is extracted and stored away and left to mature for up to a year. After which it is fermented in wine yeast and sugar to produce a sweet aromatic plum wine. This plum wine also has the plums still in the liquor and they make a delicious addition to the experience.
SHOCHU - is Japanese distilled beverage typically contains 25% alcohol by volume. The key point about single distillation is that the flavour of the raw ingredients is stronger and the Shochu has more character compared to other kinds of spirits. double 50ml bottle SHISO SHOCHU WAKAMURASAKI 3.20 29.00-500ml - A distinctive aroma from the delicate infusion of Japanese Shiso, traditionally one of the key flavours of Japanese cuisine. A unique shiso flavour on top of a traditional barley shochu base. TOWARI 3.40 30.00-720ml - Towari shochu is made with 100% soba, fresh with a wiff of smoke. A light and floral, sweetness with a hint of mint. YOKAICHI MUGI 3.80 35.00-720ml - The barley has been polished to the equivalent of a ginjo sake level. Fruity and cereal nose and medium-light. Hints of mineral, with malty notes on the palate. KIRISHIMA 3.80 35.00-900ml - The brewery believes that water is everything when it comes to making shochu and uses a special type of volcanic water spring which forms in fissures in the bedrock of the mountain basin. Kirishima s motto is gentle, graceful, genuine which pretty much sums up this excellent shochu which has a rich flavour and a mellow taste.
