We can see that Spring is on its way. Hoping you all had a great Valentine s Day and we re going into the Easter season, but let s focus on the nice weather. I am going to be looking for volunteers for Spring cleaning and for Summertime steak nights. Spring cleaning is a one day commitment from 10 AM 2 PM, with benefits to follow. Steak Nights to occur in May, June, July, and August and possibly September, if the crew would agree. I hope you all have wintered well. Events for March/April Please consider helping with our food events. We need help preparing, cooking and serving food and clean-up. Sign-up sheets are in the Bar. Thursdays, Burger Nights March 7 After Shock April 4 Burger Nights includes a burger with your choice of toppings, a brat or a hot dog, french fries, salad bar, baked beans and a dessert. Cost Adults $9.00, kids under 10- $5.00. Thursdays, Pizza Night March 14 April 11 Large Pizza- $13.00, Large pizza with 4 or more toppings,$15.00, Small pizza-$8.00, small pizza with 4 or more toppings, $9.00. $1.00 is added to all carry-outs. Call 563 588 4458. Toppings include: beef, sausage, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, onions, mushrooms, green/black olives, green peppers, and sauerkraut. All pizza nights benefit club activities Sundays, Breakfast Buffet 8 AM 12 PM There will be no breakfast Buffets in March and April. Breakfast Buffets to return for Mother s Day and Father s Day Breakfasts. Thursdays, Chicken Night March 28 Dinners includes: 4 pieces of chicken, baked potato, corn, salad bar, roll and butter and a dessert. Cost - $11.00, 2 piece chicken dinner - $9.00. All white or all dark meat $1.00 extra. Profits benefit the Asbury Eagles Club. Good Friday Fish Fry April 19 Dinner includes All-You-Eat baked or deep fried cod, baked potato, salad bar, rolls and a dessert. Cost: Adults $13.00, $6.00 Kids 10 and Under, $8.00 Salad Bar only. No reservations needed.. Profits benefit the Club. 2

There are some blank applications behind the bar. Banquet Coordinator Please sign-up at the club if you are interested in helping with upcoming banquet functions. We need help bartending (must be club qualified to bartend) Banquet room on the hall side will be available for renting. Rates are based on whether the person renting it is an Asbury Eagles Club member or not. Rooms must be cleaned up after event by renting group. Jenny Klinge is the Banquet Coordinator. The Asbury Eagles Club is a great place for Holiday, Graduation, Anniversary, Birthday parties, Baby, Rehearsal Dinners, Wedding Showers and Receptions, Retirement parties, Family Reunions. We appreciate your support of our organization. Aerie/ Auxiliary Nominations for 2019/2020 Attention all Asbury Eagles members! April is a very important month for our Club because it is when we submit officer nominations for both the Aerie and the Auxiliary 2019/2020. Any Aerie/ Auxiliary member in good standing may nominate themselves or another Eagle member in good standing. All nominations must be submitted during a official Aerie meeting ( 1 st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at ) or an official Auxiliary Meeting ( 1 st Monday or 3 rd Wednesday of the month at ) If you can t make the Aerie or Auxiliary meeting, please tell another Aerie or Auxiliary member of your intentions to either nominate yourself or another member in good standing. Nominations must be submitted by Auxiliary April 1 Aerie- April 3 The elections for the 2019/2020 Officers will take place at the regular Auxiliary/ Aerie meetings in May. Burger Night Monies- 4

News from the Joint Meeting Burger Night monies: Stingray Softball- $1300 raised. Money will be used for catcher equipment and fields. Daytona 500 Party on February 17 raised $610.00 for the State Charity HEROS. The Heros project is to raise $250,000 to build a main accessible lodge for veterans and their families to visit and begin the healing process. They also want to raise awareness of PTSD, Military Sexual Trauma and Traumatic Brain Injury along with making veterans aware of Heros. Village Bar shredded prime rib sandwiches, chips and coleslaw was served for $5.00 Thank you to all who put the party together and all who braved the inclement weather to participate in the party. Asbury Eagles Club Holiday Party was February 2 at the Village Bar in Kieler, WI and was attended by 28 Eagle members. A stop was made at Catfish Charlie s on the way back to the Club. The Aerie and the Auxiliary each bought a drink for these members once they were back at the Club. Chicken Night profits will now benefit the Asbury Eagles Club. A big Thank you to Make a Wish volunteers for all their past help with the Chicken Nights. There will be a Club cleaning on May 4 10 Am 2 PM. Cocktails and pizza to follow. Thanks to all our members who step up on a regular basis, manning the food events, decorating the Club and all that you do for the good of the Club. Auxiliary News The Auxiliary met at Applebees on January 7 for dinner before their monthly meeting. Members enjoyed a good meal and fellowship. They returned to the Asbury Eagles Club for their monthly meeting. The Asbury Eagles Club had a Holiday Party at the Village Bar in Kieler, WI. 28 Eagle members attended the Holiday Party. The Asbury Auxiliary will be hosting a Soup Cook Off and Vendor Fair on March 30 th. Any Auxiliary member who renews their Eagle membership by April1 will be put in a drawing for a $20 Eagle gift card. Another Ladies Night Out was scheduled for March 4 at 5:30 PM at Carlos O Kelly s for dinner and fellowship. We will return to the Asbury Eagles Club for our monthly meeting. Plans are in the works to schedule a Ladies Night Get together in April. Everyone is asked to bring a snack/appetizer to share. More details to come later. The Auxiliary By Laws have been reviewed, edited and read times three. The Auxiliary voted and passed the changes.
