Lunch in the CR is, unlike in the UK, the main dish of the day. Typical Czech meal is roast pork, knedliky (kind of dumplings) and stewed cabbage. Potatoes, rice, pasta as side dishes are popular, with all kinds of meat (pork, beef, poultry like chicken or turkey) and also fish and all sorts of vegetables.
Dinner in the UK is the main dish of the day and it is eaten in the evening. It consists of a lot of vegetables and meat. This is roast beef, potatoes, yorkshire pudding, carrots and peas.
Dinner in the CR may be a warm meal or a cold meal with a vegetable salad and just a cold plate like this:

Going to restaurants is nicer than eating at home or fast food shops. A nice waitress is serving wine to a guest. The guest is choosing a meal from the menu.
