How and what people eat is important for their health. Once a day? Twice a day? 3-times a day? 4-times a day? etc. If the foods are healthy, and in small portions, you may eat many times a day.

British breakfast consists of but, while in Britain, you may also have sausage, bacon, eggs, tomatoes and toast or for a quick breakfast

Czech breakfast may consist of ham, salami, cheese, butter and some vegetables like pepper, tomatoes etc., with a slice of bread. Also popular is jam or marmelade or honey with bread and butter.

Lunch in the UK consists of some meat (pork, beef, lamb, fish, poultry) and a lot of vegetables (carrots, peas). Yorkshire pudding Having a picnic in a park at lunchtime on a summer day is popular in the UK.

Lunch in the CR is, unlike in the UK, the main dish of the day. Typical Czech meal is roast pork, knedliky (kind of dumplings) and stewed cabbage. Potatoes, rice, pasta as side dishes are popular, with all kinds of meat (pork, beef, poultry like chicken or turkey) and also fish and all sorts of vegetables.

Dinner in the UK is the main dish of the day and it is eaten in the evening. It consists of a lot of vegetables and meat. This is roast beef, potatoes, yorkshire pudding, carrots and peas.

Dinner in the CR may be a warm meal or a cold meal with a vegetable salad and just a cold plate like this:

Healthy diet How can you keep fit? By eating healthy food and doing exercises

The wrong diet Hamburgers, or any fast food, should be avoided - no matter how tasty they may be.

Going to restaurants is nicer than eating at home or fast food shops. A nice waitress is serving wine to a guest. The guest is choosing a meal from the menu.

Questions: What does British breakfast look like? How much is Czech breakfast different from it? How many times a day should we eat? Is it healthy to avoid fruit and vegetables? Can healthy diet help you to keep fit? Have you ever eaten in a restaurant? When did you last eat in a restaurant?

Answers: British breakfast consists of (see picture 3) It is different in many ways, e.g. (pict. 4) We should eat possibly 5-times a day. No, it is most unhealthy. We should not avoid them. Of course, healthy diet helps you to keep fit. Yes, I have. I have been to many restaurants for lunch or dinner in Brno. The last time I ate in one was last month.
