Taste Italy has been producing traditional food products, in particular egg pasta, for over forty years. For almost half a century we have dedicated ourselves to identifying and preserving the authentic taste of tradition based on the teachings of Grandma Domenica Montanini, a renowned cook of the Modena mountain region, a master in the art of pasta, from whom Taste Italy inherited its knowledge and the flavors of a time past.

MISSION The GustaMente mission is to reinterpret with mindfulness the most delicious traditional Italian recipes, and in particular those of the Emilia-Romagna region, offering dietary products that are faithful to tradition but also strictly Gluten Free, without the addition of preservatives and artificial flavors, in addition to being free of ingredients renowned for being unhealthy or the cause of intolerance. Because it changed the eating habits, but our preference for appetizing food will remain the same.

The choice of raw materials begins from a supply chain that is as short as possible making use of local producers and constant search for the best products. RECIPES FOR EVERY NEEDS The GustaMente product line is subdivided into: Tradition Line - the line "Famiglia Montanini" was born from Grandma Domenica's recipes, faithful to the Italian agro-food tradition; Specialty Line - from the combination of the intense flavors of traditional Italian cuisine comes the "Girovagando" line, specialties with new flavors to try; Baby & Kids Line - From the love and attention for the youngest the line "Grazie Mamma" was created to meet the nutritional needs of our school-aged children.
RECIPES FOR EVERY NEEDS The GustaMente product line is subdivided into three price ranges: GOLD Certified PDO and PGI ingredients and high quality raw materials for the Premium products mainly destined to specialized distribution channels; SILVER Ingredients selected and processed through a controlled supply chain for Mainstream products that draw from the excellence of tradition and are mainly destined to large-scale distribution; BRONZE Recipes prepared on commission for Private Food Labels and destined mainly to large-scale distribution.
DIFFERENT SIZES AND FILLINGS Different egg pasta stuffed with soft meat, cheese or vegetables. A lot of typical Italian egg pasta sizes such as Tortellini, Tortelloni and Ravioli. All the GustaMente Pasta cooks very quickly (3-5 minutes) to meet today's needs of fast preparation time.
CAPPELLETTI CARNE (FILLED WITH MEAT) Cappelletti are the most famous filled egg pasta from the Italian tradition. When enjoying Cappelletti, one is overwhelmed by a mix of unique flavors typical of the Emilia-region: prime selected beef, cheese, delicate mortadella and a touch of nutmeg. Enjoyed served in a broth, or delicious with cream. In a pan combine cream, grated Parmesan cheese and a spoonful of broth, simmer on low heat until it forms a smooth cream, then add black pepper to taste. RAVIOLI RICOTTA E SPINACI (FILLED WITH RICOTTA CHEESE AND SPINACH) Emilia-region traditional cuisine calls for a delicious filling with spinach and ricotta, but depending on the area and ingredients that make this dish so characteristic, it is possible to enjoy it with many variants. The best way to enjoy the delicate taste of ravioli is to cook them in boiling water then sautée them in a pan with butter and sage. Try it with excellent quality ragù sauce for a delicious variant. SACCOTTINI PROSCIUTTO COTTO E MOZZARELLA (FILLED WITH COOKED HAM AND MOZZARELLA) With a shape that reminds of a candy, Saccottini are perfect to tantalize the appetite of our kids: "Grazie Mamma" offers Saccottini with a delicate Ham and Mozzarella filling, born from the combination of excellent quality ingredients loved by all kids, but also adults appreciate them a lot. Different recipes for this pasta, from the simple called in bianco (in white) with a veil of olive oil or melted butter with grated Parmisan Cheese on the top. RAVIOLI ALLA PIZZAIOLA (PIZZA STYLE, FILLED WITH MOZZARELLA AND TOMATO) In a thin gluten free egg pasta with a ravioli size, it is contained a soft filling that reminds the taste of the pizza: high quality ingredients such as Mozzarella and Tomato allow this taste.
