His writings betray a remarkable ability to explore a variety of prose styles, but his main strength is the storytelling so sorely lacking from contemporary Hungarian writing. He is an impressive raconteur in person, too, and regularly drops into Villa Bagatelle for a coffee. What s more, he wrote his first collection of novellas here, entitling it Villanovellák.
