ABOUT TERRITORY TASTE FESTIVAL The biggest unique Territory inspired foodie event on the calendar, Territory Taste Festival, is going to be relaunched as an outdoor event at the Darwin Cruise Ship Terminal at Fort Hill Wharf and adjoining Fort Hill Wharf with uninterrupted views of Darwin harbour in 2019. The team from the Event Buro are relaunching in 2019 with Northern Territory Government support, and are amending the format to include more participation workshop opportunities, more chefs, increased flexibility for stallholders and food vendors, more indigenous cultural elements and increased Territory producer participation. These unique offerings enable the event organisers to advertise the event interstate and attract more foodie tourists to the Northern Territory event in 2019. This will all form the basis for a unique Northern Territory major event that you will want to be part of! The Territory Taste Festival offers you the opportunity to exhibit alongside the very best the industry has to offer, from local producers to industry leaders, putting you in front of an engaged audience. HOW TO GET INVOLVED Exhibiting at the 2019 Territory Taste Festival is your chance to be face-to-face with a highly targeted and engaged audience of food and drink enthusiasts. Sell, promote and market your brand at the Northern Territory s most exciting food & beverage event and exhibit alongside other local producers, industry leaders and dynamic brands. Food /RETAIL Vendor Spaces - 2 DAYS 4 x 3M Pavillion, weighted with fluro light 4 x Staff tickets 4 x Festival aprons Additional staff tickets can be purchased. You will receive a maximum of 4 staff tickets, please manage them carefully. $1,500 + GST 6 x 3M Pavillion, weighted with fluro light 6 x Staff tickets 6 x Festival aprons Additional staff tickets can be purchased. STALLHOLDER TERMS & CONDITIONS Deposit & refunds: If you book a food/retail vendor space, you will be required to secure your booking with a nonrefundable deposit payment of $500 per stall. The rest of the fees will be invoiced in 3 installments if you book you place before the 31st December. If you book your site after the 31st December you will be invoiced in 2 installments. All site fees and payments MUST be made by the invoice due dates and paid in full before the Festival commences. If cancellation is made prior to 4 weeks to the event then your fee minus the bond payment will be refunded. Any cancellations within 4 weeks of the event no refund will be given. A week is 7 full days. Third party stall applications: Stalls cannot be secured by or obtained from a third party under any circumstances. Risk Assessment: All stallholders are required to have carried out a careful assessment of the potential risks associated with their particular activity. You will be asked to submit a written copy with your Application Form. Insurance: The Territory Taste Festival holds Public Liability Insurance in respect of its own activities. All stallholders must hold their own Public Liability Insurance. Stallholders must also have Product Liability where appropriate. You will be asked to supply copies of your Public Liability Insurance Certificate covering you for the dates of the events you wish to attend with your Application Form. Stalls: Stallholders must not place goods beyond the boundaries of the stall either on the ground or hanging unless previously agreed with the Territory Taste Festival. There will be no sub-letting of stalls without prior consent from the Festival. Stallholders are required to co-operate with Site Managers, Security, Emergency Services, and all official organisations on site. Electrical and gas equipment: Stallholders will be asked to provide an accurate list of all electrical appliances when filling in the electrical form. All electrical items brought on site must be tested and tagged. Any power will be charged by the contractor to the stallholder directly. All electrical equipment must be in good condition and have current certificates. All gas equipment must be covered by an up-to-date gas certificate issued by a registered gas engineer (Gas Safety Register). These certificates must be available for inspection by our Health and Safety officer at the event. Fire Safety equipment: Stallholders must provide fire safety equipment on their stands appropriate to their activities. Environmental Health & Trading Standards: Stallholders are expected to comply fully with relevant legislation in respect of Trading Standards, Health and Safety and Stalls may be inspected during the event and those deemed not to comply with relevant regulations may be shut down. Security: During the Festival there will be overnight security. However, stallholders who choose to leave product or equipment on their stalls overnight do so at their own risk. The Territory Taste Festival will not be liable for any loss or damage to any trader s property or produce. Disposables: All food containers, packaging, plates and cutlery, etc., should be constructed of biodegradable materials such as paper and wood. Drinks containers should be recyclable; recyclable plastic is preferable to biodegradable plastic. If biodegradable drink containers are used, they should be clearly marked as such. Polystyrene are not acceptable. Waste disposal: Stallholders are expected to keep their surrounding areas as clean as possible throughout the event. Facilities for waste disposal will be provided. Recycling points will be set up in each area. Bookings: A secure booking is when full payment of the stallholder invoice has been received. Until full payment has been received by Territory Taste Festival the stall/s cannot be guaranteed.
