Prep Time! Chefs may arrive at the Aqua Turf any time between 10am and 3pm, but 3pm at the latest. We recommend that chefs bring their own dolly/cart to carry items into the facility. It is important to complete and submit your equipment form correctly prior to the day of event. There will be a station next to your table with all of the items you requested on the equipment form. Allow time to set up your table scape and prep your food. If needed, we will have full access to the kitchen for the duration of the event.
Cocktail Reception 5:30pm 7:00pm The cocktail reception is an ideal time for you to promote your restaurant to over 400 of our guests, many of whom are medical professionals and corporate executives. The reception takes place in a completely separate room from the main dining area, giving chefs ample time and privacy to prepare for the five-course dinner. There is a Silent Auction, alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, and delicious passed hors d oeuvres from all of our chefs. Each chef is asked to prepare and serve two hors d oeuvres (30 pieces of each). It is important to remember to bring your own serving trays! We also recommend you bring along a 2 to 3 person wait staff for the evening to serve the hors d oeuvres while the chef is busy preparing his/her dishes.
Five-course Meal 7:00pm-9:30pm It s Finally Time! All of the guests will prepare to wine and dine on your delicious meal. Chefs will be given a 10-minute warning before the guests are invited into the main dining area. After they find their assigned table and the meal begins, it is very important to follow the schedule that is provided, which lists the times to serve each course. There are certain times throughout the program where we will have speakers/presentations on the stage to ask for fundraising support, and we ask that our chefs continue with their food service but do so with minimal noise during the announcements!

Our table sponsors include many hospitals, medical offices, and local businesses throughout Connecticut, including Hartford Hospital and Yale-New Haven Health, Naugatuck Valley Gastroenterology, Connecticut GI and Gastro Center of Connecticut, and many other guests who support the ALF by purchasing tables or individual tickets. Past years table sponsors include Deep River Snacks, pharmaceutical companies, specialty pharmacies, banks, law firms, real estate companies, and several Connecticut corporations who invite employees, clients, and friends for a thrilling culinary experience!
All Good Things Must Come to an End... After our Fund-the-Mission presentation, Live Auction, and dessert we will announce the table award winners. If you are among the winners, please come to the stage to receive your award and pose for a photo! You may clean up your work stations at your own pace, but we ask that your table scape remain in place until the event concludes. You will have full access to the kitchen at the Aqua Turf for the entire evening. Our guests leave full, happy and excited to visit your restaurant throughout the year!
