Held at Tanger Outlets on April 18 th, individuals had the opportunity to meet many government employees and learn more about what Summit County has to offer its residents. Sybil Roscoe and Dan Schweikert of Park City both won prizes to basin rec, and many more prizes were given out that day. The weather was a bit windy but the fun atmosphere and the delicious food more than made up for it. Hopefully more seniors can attend next year.

Quilting Contest The Quilting Contest Deadline is almost upon us, have you been busy making your quilt? The quilt can be any size and have any design you want. The judges will be looking at overall quality and composition and the winner will receive a Wal-mart gift card. If you have a quilt to enter please turn it into Heather Nalette before May 8 th. The winner will be announced in the June newsletter. The quilts will be broken into two categories, the first will be any quilts finished since the contest was announced in December 2014 and the second will be any quilts finished before then. Saturday May 2 nd Tanger Outlets is having a girls night out. Each lady who attends will receive a free VIP gift bag with special offers, great discounts and a chance to win fabulous prizes. We will arrive at the outlets at 4:00 shop until 5:45 and then head over to Red Rock Brewery for dinner. Dinner will be purchase on your own so you can get whatever you like. Pick up schedule will be based amount of women who sign up at each center. Tour of National Ability Center You might remember Ruth Ann who visited each center and spoke about all the wonderful things the National Ability Center has to offer. After such a wonderful presentation it was decided that
we should tour the facility and see the fun for ourselves. Tuesday May 19 th the Summit County Seniors will be heading over to NAC for an afternoon outing. The Tour will begin at 10:30 with a brief welcome and then will proceed with a guided walk of the facility. This will be a wonderful opportunity to ask any questions you may have regarding the activities offered or about volunteer opportunities. Following the tour will be lunch.
