Congratulations on your upcoming event! Our party brochure is designed to acquaint you, the club member, with current policies and procedures in arranging a special function. A successful party results from careful planning by the host and Manager. You may rest assured that when the party contract is signed, you have received the very best service and quality. Our party brochure has been carefully planned and organized to provide the widest range of prices and services. Part of this package is a reception menu. A sit down menu can be created by you and our manager (see the last page of this publication for more information regarding sit down menu options). Try as we may, it is just not possible to foresee every request; therefore, we will be happy to work with you on special requirements and provide a quote for any item not included in this brochure. Only members and their guests may use our facilities. The member assumes full responsibility for payment of goods or services provided to the guest. Damage to Club property occurring during special functions is the responsibility of the member. The property owner is responsible for the actions of their guest(s) at all times while in the community. HAWL proudly boasts a family environment. Hide-A-Way Lake Club, Inc. reserves the right to deny, cancel, or terminate the event if it does not reflect a family friendly environment. The lodge capacity limit is 200 guests. No food may be brought into the Club from outside sources, with the exception of a wedding cake or other special dessert i.e. birthday cake. Room rental does not include catering of the food. At the time of reservation, a deposit of $300 is required to hold the date. Deposit will not be refunded if cancelled. Prices: All goods and services are priced on present costs and therefore are subject to change without notice. Once we have confirmed a price and the party agreements have been finalized, prices will not be changed. Payment must be made in full one week prior to event date. You will be charged for the number of guests you book on the agreement unless there are additional guests which attend who were not counted in the original agreement. At the end of the event, a final headcount of guests will be confirmed by restaurant management and the event host in order to verify the number of guests in attendance. Should the guests in attendance exceed the number of guests previously agreed upon, payment for the additional guests is expected in full the day of the event; if not, the outstanding balance will be charged to the sponsoring property owner s account. Music: You may provide your own music if you desire. You may contract with a band, combo, or D.J. or you may bring your own music (CDs) which can be played through the restaurant intercom system. Any entertainment, musical or non-musical, must be approved by the Club Manager prior to their appearance. Arrangements must be made with the band, combo, or D.J to close down early enough to be packed and out by the end of the event. Any portions of an hour will be charged for a full hour. Any deviation from the agreed upon time will result in an additional charge.

After three hours rental fee is $150.00 per hour. Any portion of an hour will be charged for a full hour. Any deviation from the agreed upon time will result in an additional charge. If the Wedding, in addition to the Reception, is to be held at Hide-A-Way Lake, a set-up fee of $250 will be charged. This fee includes an additional hour for the combined events. Please note, Waters Edge does not provide chairs for the deck area; however, 50 folding chairs with white covers are available for rent at a cost of $100.00. Security is mandatory for all events of 100 or more guests. Security is set at a rate of $30 an hour and is to include the hour prior to the event, the duration of the event, as well as an hour after the event. 15% service charge and 7% tax will be added to total price of food and beverages but not on the room rental. Bar Set-up fee is $225 and includes glasses, mixers, etc. You have to provide the alcohol as well as secure a bartender. Arrangements to have individuals come in to do decorating of the room or rooms will be made through restaurant management with attention to the regular restaurant serving schedule. No nails, tape, staples, tacks, or any other type of anchor will be allowed to be attached to the walls, ceilings, windows, etc. ATTENTION: A PRINTED, ALPHABETIZED LIST OF ALL GUESTS MUST BE GIVEN TO SECURITY AND THE PARTY DIRECTOR AT LEAST ONE DAY PRIOR TO THE EVENT. ANY GUEST NOT ON LIST MAY HAVE TROUBLE ENTERING HIDE-A-WAY LAKE.
