The northernmost tea of the planet Earth
The Sakha Tea trademark carries out a full cycle of tea production using professional equipment from wild growing raw materials. Raw materials are collected in ecologically clean regions of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The flora of Yakutia, in spite of the harsh climatic conditions, and possibly thanks to them, can become an unprecedented source of raw materials for the production and blending of an exclusive line of teas based on Ivan Chai (Ivan Tea - Epilobium angustifolium). Chemical screening of plants of the flora of Yakutia has led to the conclusion that the natural conditions of Yakutia, in general, favor the biosynthesis of aboriginal plants of important biologically active substances. The presented teas are created in close cooperation with scientists-biologists, which guarantees the preservation of the beneficial properties of Yakut wild plants, their optimal combination in blends and adherence to production technology. The periods of collection, the terms of procurement and the conditions of transportation, on which the quality of products directly depends, are taken into account. 13.11.2018 2
Everyone knows the fact of improving the taste, chemical and energy qualities of plants in high altitude conditions. According to repeated experts, sharp drops between the indicators of winter and summer temperatures in the region, the short duration and concentration of flowering, equates the Yakut herbs to alpine in many respects. In addition, when creating tea drinks, we tried to take into account the traditional everyday use of the indigenous peoples of Yakutia, centuries-old observations of the healing qualities of the wild herbs used. Thus, a national flavor appears in our drinks, which can also affect the marketing success of the product. 13.11.2018 3
CURRENT STATUS OF THE PROJECT During the summer season of 2018, we collected and processed more than 17 tons of raw materials, produced about 3.5 tons of finished tea products. In Khangalassky district, there are two production workshops, for 2019 it is planned to additionally launch three workshops in the territory of Namsky, Megino-Khangalassky and Khangalassky districts. Created a unique recipe for tea production. Work on the collection of raw materials in the Khangalassky, Amginsky, Megino Khangalassky, Aldansky, Namsky, Vilyuysky and Verkhne-Vilyuysky districts. CURRENT STATUS OF THE PROJECT Together with research associates of the Institute of Biological Problems of the Cryolithozone, Siberian Branch, Russian Academy of Sciences, we developed 30 varieties of tea blends. The finished product passed the laboratory examination and received a Declaration of Conformity. In 2018, an additional 3 sets of equipment for the full production cycle were purchased. Work is underway to create a prototype of a mobile tea production plant (submitted an application to Skolkovo). A contract for the supply of black tea and personnel training was concluded with the Zhenjiang Commercial and Industrial Company (PRC). SAKHA TEA 5
CURRENT STATUS OF THE PROJECT The certificate of Compliance of the System of voluntary certification Made in Yakutia level B. A tea supply contract was concluded with the International Company Oz, which has branches in major cities of Russia and in countries: Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Finland.
