Garden Club News So, your resolutions are already made, (I hope you haven't broken all of them yet!) your celebrations have been enjoyed and you are now ready to get busy on making the most of 2019. As a suggestion, how about getting out to the Garden Club meeting on Friday, January, 18, in the Dogwood Room of Houndslake Country Club. It starts at 10:30 with a bit of visiting to allow us to catch up with everyone's holiday activities and news. Our program begins next. This month it will be Vicki Bertagnolli telling us about Yard Varmints - that being - Animals, Moles, Voles, and Snakes, etc. Sounds like a good time to talk about them when we are not likely to run into any of them yet! You have to get ready though, they'll be here before you know it! Now put this on your calendar; we'll be looking for you. Any questions? The Book Club will be reading The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. They will meet January 31 st at 11:30 am. Book club is open to all members and guests. Thank you for coming out that night and celebrating the Holiday Season with us. Golf News L9HG The 9-Hole Golf 2018 Christmas luncheon was December 5th in the Dogwood Room of Houndslake Country Club. Twenty ladies attended the luncheon and the ladies who weren t there, were missed. A special thanks to Jenifer Ramseur and Bernice Sipe for arranging and setting up the luncheon.
