Please note that participation in our monthly missions is completely voluntary. Fundraisers We are collecting recipes for a Preschool cookbook that will available for purchase in November. Please email (1) or (2) recipes to Courtney at cpeters@preschool-stjohns.org or drop off a copy at the office by October 31 Our Annual Wee-Cycle Kids Consignment Sale is October 24 & 25 in the Parish Life Center. You can help support our sale by: 1. Sign up to be a vendor! Clean our your kids closets & make some money! Vendors do NOT have to be current pre school families. Tell your friends/family! 2. Donate your children s gently used clothes or toys to be sold at the Preschool sales table. 3. Volunteer to prepare for and/or help on the day of the sale. 4. Come & shop the sale! Spread the word! Misc In an effort to conserve paper and keep our costs down we will be sending out the weekly newsletter electronically. In order to receive the newsletters electronically, please make sure you have returned the email request form to the office. The email form was located in your child s folder that was distributed at the beginning of the year. If you do not have email please contact the office and we will generate a paper copy for you.

Clean out your kids closets and make some money! Vendor space costs $25 and includes a table & 2 chairs. Vendors are welcome to bring their own hanging rack. You conduct your own sales & keep 100% of your proceeds. You will also be able to partake in a pre-sale from 8: 00-9:00am on Friday morning. Vendors do not need to be current preschool families. St John s Preschool will take care of all advertising! Donate your children s gently used clothes or toys to be sold at the St. John s Preschool sales table. Plastic or wire hangers are also being collected. Volunteer to prepare for and/or help on the day of the sale. Come and shop the sale! Spread the word! All items must be baby, child or maternity related. This includes toys, clothing, books, & baby gear. No cribs or car seats please. Vendor registration is due by October 10th. After this time, vendors may still register if there is space available, but will be subject to a $10 late fee. Vendor set-up will take place on Thursday, October 23rd from 5pm-7pm. ***If you are interested in being a vendor, please fill out & return the attached registration form to the preschool office. We are excited to announce that St. John s Lutheran Church & Preschool are now home to a Little Free Library ( ). Our library is for the enjoyment of all the children and families of St. John s. A Little Free Library operates on the honor system. Take a book, read and enjoy it, and return it to the library, or bring back a different book to share with other readers. Please replace a book with either the same book or one of similar quality. We will accept donations of new or gently used books as well. At this time, the library will be stocked with children s books and parenting books. St. John s Little Free Library is located in the parent waiting area outside the preschool double doors.
