MANUFACTURING PROCESS SHELF LIFE IRRADIATION A range of quality ingredients is batch cooked according to a defined recipe and the product frozen prior to freeze drying. The dry product is metal detected and weighed into pouches, which are then heat sealed. Pouches contain an oxygen scavenger to provide a protective atmosphere. For unopened, undamaged bags, stored as recommended, 7 years from date of production. The product is not irradiated.
