Afterwards, add garlic cloves, mushrooms, carrot slices, scallions, peas and bell peppers. Season with pepper, turmeric, curry powder, ginger powder, Sambal Oelek, soy sauce and then let it cook for 10 min until the vegetables have the right consistency. Add rice, which has been cooked in salt water, and the strips of chicken breast. Heat up and then season with salt, pepper and soy sauce. TIP: Heat up the meat in advance, then you don t need any further cooking time after you have put the meat in and the vegetables have been already cooked to the exact cooking point.
