We ll get to know our new friends at a welcome dinner, prior to checking in at the Drury Inn in Springfield, IL. (Dinner) Monday, September 18, 2017: Kickstart breakfast at the hotel. On to Branson, home of some of the best shows you will ever see. After a hearty lunch buffet at the Sirloin Stockade, we arrive in Branson midafternoon and check in to our home for the next few days, the Clarion Inn. Relax this evening with a dinner cruise on the Showboat Branson Belle. Your two hour cruise on magnificent Table Rock Lake includes a delicious three course meal and an outstanding selection of live entertainment. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) Tuesday, September 19, 2017: Breakfast at the hotel. We begin our morning with a tour of the Branson area. Our knowledgeable guide showcases the beauty and history of this unique Ozark town that grew from humble beginnings to the music mecca it has now become. Lunch is on your own, then take your seats for Larry s Country Diner matinee show. Based on the down-home variety program that draws loyal viewers from its live Nashville show each month, the entire cast travels to Branson for a few select shows each year. Dinner this evening is at Landry s Seafood House before the Presley s Jubilee Show. Back in 1967 the Presley s built the first live music theater in Branson and it is still there, entertaining audiences with a one of a kind mix of country, gospel, bluegrass and hilarious comedy. Wednesday, September 20, 2017: Breakfast at the hotel. We kick off the day with the Brett Family Morning Show. This is not your average family variety show. With a dizzying array of awards over their 17 year Branson career, this dynamic family produces a power packed two hour entertainment experience. Lunch is on your own prior to a visit to the Titanic Museum. This two story museum is shaped like the Titanic itself, but built halfscale to the original. It is anchored in water to create the illusion of the Titanic at sea. The museum holds 400 pre-discovery artifacts in 20 galleries. This selfguided tour is designed to give you the sensation of being an original passenger on their 1912 maiden voyage. As you step through the artificial iceberg into the museum, you are given a passenger boarding ticket with the name of an actual Titanic passenger and the class on which they traveled. At the end of the tour, in the Titanic Memorial Room, you ll find out whether you survived or perished. Dinner at the Grand Country Buffet, then take your seats for the legendary Shoji Tabuchi. This is the show that set the standards for lavish productions and is one of the original shows of Branson. (Breakfast, Dinner) Thursday, September 21, 2017: Breakfast at the hotel. The brand new All Hands on Deck morning show brings you back to an era of patriotism and appreciation for the good old USA. The afternoon is free to explore Branson Landing. This scenic boardwalk along the lake front is home to a vibrant town square featuring unique shops, restaurants and entertainment. The crown jewel is the spectacular water fountains that emerge water, fire, light and music. Dinner this evening at Pashgetti s Restaurant. The greatest Biblical epic of the Old Testament will come to life on the Sight & Sound Stage in the production of Moses. Take a step back in time to experience the golden splendor of ancient Egypt. This cast of 54 professional actors will wear over 800 costumes. This is their most ambitious and technically advanced production to date. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Friday, September 22, 2017: Breakfast at the hotel. After a great introduction to the area, we bid a fond farewell to the Branson area. Next up, a unique tour at Fantastic Caverns, America s only ride through cave. Board the jeep drawn trams for a narrated ride. Of course, a lunch stop at Lambert s Home of the Throwed Roll is always on the agenda when you are in the area. Late this afternoon, we check in to the Drury Inn St. Louis, just in time for their Kickback Reception. Enjoy complimentary appetizers and beverages and take time to enjoy the rest of the evening on your own.
