Second Semester Wow. We have just finished the first semester of school. It is hard to believe that we are now officially halfway through this school year. Our students are working so hard and have set some high standards for themselves. We are very proud of them. This is a good time to check their school supplies and press the reset button in regards to habits. Our students are working on the 3 rd Habit of the Leader in Me program. This is First Things First. We will now be moving into the 4 th Habit starting February. Our students have finished learning about habits that help them personally. This second semester, we should see our students improve in their independence and organizational skills. Thank you for supporting our program this year. Stay tuned for more information from a few staff members about how Leader in Me fits in at home. Leader in Me Student Leadership Thank you, Emine, Abigail N., Sophie H., Sophie C., Ciarra and Bella N. These young ladies did an incredible job this morning serving as tour leaders for a prospective family. They provided this family with a warm welcome, detailed information from a students perspective of the school program and a very informative tour. We knew all along that our students had leadership inside of them. We are now working hard to provide them with opportunities to show us their skills. Great job, ladies. The weather this next week is going to be challenging with more snow and even colder wind chills predicted. Please make sure your children have snow pants, boots, hats and gloves as they will go outside for recess any day that is above 0 degrees in temperature or wind chill. Thank you for sending our students prepared to learn and have fun every day. Have a great weekend.

Hello there, Brompton families! We have another fabulous week ahead! Here s what cooking during these chilly days coming up This coming Friday, February 2 nd, Brompton is hosting a movie night for the kindergarten through 5 th grades! Toy Story 3 will be shown starting at 6:5pm and it is FREE to attend, plus popcorn and water will be provided at no charge! Other concessions, such as pizza, will also be available for purchase starting at 6pm. Hope to see you all there! Our Spaghetti Dinner is set for Friday, Feb. 22nd, 209 and we are so excited! This is our largest fundraiser of the year and we have so much in store for you, Brompton families! In order to reach our goals, we need to secure donations from a wide variety of businesses. This can be in the form of products, services, monetary donations, or something new we ve added this year: sponsorships! Formal donation letters are available, upon request, by contacting our BCP president, Sarah Salmon, or fundraising chair, Kara Easton, at bromptoncommunitypartnership@gmail.com. Speaking of our Spaghetti Dinner, tickets are now on sale and at early bird pricing until January 3st! They can be purchased before and after school by stopping at Mrs. Williams room (room 22), or by filling out the attached order form. Payments can be made via cash or check (payable to BCP) and tickets will be routed back to you within 48 hours. This event is at the beautiful Cortese s banquet hall this year and will feature our silent auction, dinner, and new this year- DANCING! Oh yes, ladies and gentleman, we have a dance floor and dj to make this our most memorable evening yet! You don t want to miss it!

Good afternoon, Brompton Families! Just a reminder that there are just a few days left to take advantage of discounted Early Bird pricing on this year's Spaghetti Dinner tickets! An order form is attached, and another hard copy should be making it's way home in your child's folder in the next day or so! The prices on this form are only good through next Thursday, January 3st! Tickets purchased after that date will be at regular price... so order now! Also, the BCP is hosting a ticket contest! The classroom selling the most Spaghetti Dinner tickets through February 5 will receive a prize! Please make sure to note your child(ren)'s grade on the order form so we can give their classroom credit! More than one child? No worries... list them all and we will make sure each class gets credit for the tickets sold! We have some fantastic things planned... silent auction, raffles, DJ, dancing, great food, and amazing company! Feel free to invite family and friends... what a wonderful way to show off what a great community Brompton is! Looking forward to seeing you there! -the BCP Exec Board
