Welcome to the 73 rd Arroyo Grande Valley Harvest Festival Bake-Off 2010! Time to get the aprons on, find those favorite recipes and start baking! This year we have eight contests to choose from and participants can enter as many times as they would like. We invite you to try your luck in all categories and again this year there is no entry free. The contests offered for the 2010 Arroyo Grande Valley Harvest Festival Bake-Off the Country Canning Competition, Autumn Pie Review, Apple Pie Exhibition, Harvest Gone Wild, Pumpkin Bread, Zucchini Bread, Central Coast Cake Classic and Best in the West Honey Contest! Drop off your entry on Mason Street at the Historical Society. Drop-off times are Saturday, September 25 th from 8:00am to 11:00am. A completed entry form and a copy of your recipe must accompany each entry. Forms can be down loaded on this website. Please see below for Also forms are available on the day of the contest at the Gazebo or call me and I ll mail you one. All entries have to be on a disposable container or in a disposable container only. NO PLATES RETURNED! All entries once entered are property of the Arroyo Grande Valley Harvest Festival. We will be collecting your entry recipes for the 2011 Harvest Festival Cookbook that will be for sale at the next Harvest Festival. Proceeds will benefit future Harvest Festivals. Our first cookbook last year made $260.27! If you are interested in purchasing this year s cookbook, please call me or e-mail to reserve your copy in advance. Cookbooks are $5 a piece and if your company is interested in advertising in the cookbook a business card ad runs $25.00 and is tax deductable. We are also always looking for sponsors! You need not be present to win, but we hope you will be there to be part of this great community event! All entries will receive a ribbon and there will be a Luck of the Draw Raffle after the ceremony for those who didn t place. Also new this year all entries will receive a coupon for a free medium size sub sandwich from Jersey Mike s; a $7.50 value. Prizes and ribbons will be given out at the awards ceremony or will be arranged by the bake-off committee to get them to you! This year the featured cake will be the very popular CUPCAKE! So bring in your favorite cupcake recipe and you could be a winner! Six Cupcakes are required for entry. Judging will be based on Taste and Overall Presentation of your entry! You may enter as many times as you want! No entry fee. 1. You may use a packaged mix or bake from scratch for you cupcakes. 2.
