16 FOOD, FAMILY & FRIENDS SINCE 1847 At Macknade, we think we know a thing or two about great food & drink. We have been in the business for over 170 years with a history of food, farming & retailing that stretches from the island of Ischia in Italy to Kent, the Garden of England. What started life as Macknade Farm is now a thriving Food Hall, Delicatessen, Butchery and Café on the outskirts of Faversham. Our produce ranges from fresh bread to exotic fruit, teabags to truffles and if we don t sell it, we can almost certainly get it for you! Our delicatessen houses one of the largest ranges of cheese and charcuterie available anywhere in the UK and we are the only Pasture for Life certified butcher in East Kent. Macknade has been in the same family since 1847 and food & drink has always been central to the Macknade way of life. Our heart is, and has always been, in our food and the people we share it with.
