About Gaucho AN EXCITING NEW CHAPTER As we approach our 25th Anniversary in 2019, Gaucho has evolved and entered a new, exciting era, complete with new owners, a highly skilled, determined new management team and strong direction, with a brand new set of menus to match. This year will see some of our restaurants go under major renovations in our new, Latin American style which we know you will love. Our new (Argentine) executive chef carries an impressive background under his chefs hat including Michelin starred restaurants as well as stints at Nobu, Sushisamba, Rosewood London and The Lanesborough. Our pricing has been changed to reflect accessible quality, offering something for everyone whether you re watching what you spend or celebrating a special occasion and pushing the boat out. We have introduced new, exciting and diverse dishes from Latin America as well as a set lunch menu, improved group dining menus, and a rare collection of 150 Argentine wines, with the addition of around 80 world wines for the first time. 4 5
The Food and Wine Contacts The all important Argentine steaks are still at the heart of everything we do, but our new direction follows a more Latin American style, taking influence from the incredible talent, innovation and creativity which has inspired a new generation of chefs and emerging restaurants now celebrated across Latin America. Our steaks come from premium Black-Angus cattle, bred in Argentina at hand selected farms, reared by our partners who we have worked with for many years. Grazing on seventeen different types of grass from the Pampas provinces of Argentina, our cows enjoy a lush, free-range lifestyle in an area famed for its fertile soil. Our new menu features interpretations of dishes which have been loved at Gaucho as in London and the UK but also introduces a new selection of Nuevo dishes. Our link to Argentina is very strong due to our history there, the result of building relationships with producers both large and small over many years of working together. We are excited to have over 200 wines from both unique, Argentine suppliers and also now the rest of the world with the addition of some truly special wines from around the world in 2019. We have twenty private dining rooms across sixteen restaurants in London, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham and Edinburgh, with multiple, flexible event spaces for use across our collection. Our restaurants, bars, mezzanines and private spaces can be used for any type of event whether that be a breakfast, a product launch, business dinner, anniversary or a birthday. For the days when you can t make it to our restaurants, we now offer a selection of our classics on Deliveroo from most of our restaurants.
