Introduction to the BC WINE COUNTRY EXPLORER S PASS PROGRAM This program was developed to encourage our winery partners to open their doors and offer one-ofa-kind experiences that showcase our wines, our winemakers and our terroir like never before. Explorers who purchase the pass will have access to these custom wine experiences at participating wineries across BC Wine Country. Note that the quality of your offering will help dictate the success of your program; so get creative! Winery partners will be compensated for $1.00 for each scan redeemed, so invest in your offering as the opportunity to sell wine out of your retail space will pay for the program. Each pass will provide Explorers with 30 scans to be redeemed at participating wineries April 1 to December 1, 2019 noon to 4:00 PM daily. In order to be socially responsible, also ensuring that pass holders thoroughly enjoy their select winery visits, we will limit pass holders to no more than five wineries per day. The BC Wine Country Explorer's Pass is available exclusively through WineBc.com and the Wines of British Columbia Trip Planner app. Upon purchase, Explorers will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how they can access their passes in the Trip Planner app, which will be loaded with 30 scans. Upon arrival at your winery, Explorers will proceed to your check-in location, where they will scan your winery s QR code in exchange for a wine experience of your choice. Each valid pass will only register once per winery, and will be limited to five scans per day. Looking to get your winery registered for the Explorer's Pass?
