Chapter News Message from President Elvis Nail Special Event It really does seem like last month when I said Tri-State Prime Timers was going to have a busy summer and here were are again a year later looking at another busy summer. We are really pushing everyone s involvement in Pride to try and get some new blood and fresh ideas flowing into our group. Jack is planning some very special, special events for this summer and fall. In October we will be celebradng Tri-State Prime Timers 20 th anniversary and hope to have something very special to offer our members. If you were one of the many that went to the recent special event plays at my recommendadon I swear in Atlanta when we saw Take Me Out the ball players were naked as a Jay bird in the shower scene. This one not so much. You had to use your imaginadon and as we all know, somedmes that works beker anyway. I look forward to seeing you at our next meedng where we ll be back to Through the Garden which has always been one of my favorites. No naked guys there either but we ll just have to suffer threw. Saturday, June 3, 2017 Park at the dock located at 101 Riverboat Row, Newport, KY 41071, Boat boards at 6PM Departs at 6:50PM Returns at 9:30PM The buffet includes roast beef, turkey, salmon, vegetarian pasta, vegetables, potatoes, tossed salad, ice tea, coffee, water and cheese cake. Soft drinks are $2.50, beer ranges from $4.50 to $6.00 and liquor from $5.00 to $7.00. Entertainment is the house band playing a variety of genres, taking requests. The cost is $55.00 The interior of the boat is air conditioned and there is ample parking at the dock. The boat and dining area is wheelchair accessible, using an elevator between decks on the boat. There is a $20 deposit due when the reservation is made. The deposit is refundable if canceled by Friday, May 19, 2017. The cruise is not private and we have 25 spaces available. Tickets are $7.50 each for seniors on Wednesday. There should be coupons for buy one get one free movie ticket. It s a great new restaurant and less pricey than some of his other places. There is parking on the street and in the lot across the street from the restaurant. As usual, we ll meet for drinks at 6 with dinner at 6:30. After this outing, we ll take a short break and resume our dinners in September. We welcome new and returning diners. Kim Roots There is a social bridge group that meets every Monday evening at 7:00 at the various players' houses. The host serves a simple dinner (pizza, chili, sandwiches) to his 3 guests and then they settle down for a friendly game of bridge. If you are interested in this group contact Kim Roots at 513-254-6243 or kimballroots@gmail.com. You are welcome to sit in on a game to see what it's like. You can also sign on as a substitute player if you would rather not commit to a schedule.

Interest Groups Time moves faster & faster in life, and the 2017 CincinnaD Pride celebradon will soon be upon us! There is much sdll to do to be prepared for this event of sharing who we are, what we offer, and what we represent to our community. This year we have a Pride CommiKee working with Bob Jones to work out the details and we really need your help! If you have not yet signed up with Bob to be in the parade, or work the booth please let him know. If you plan on being a part of the parade or working the booth please join us at a Pre- Pride dinner and meedng hosted by Elvis and Dennis on April 29 th at 6:30. We will unveil the new banner, and magnedc signs for the vehicles in the parade. We will have the Logo Wear order forms should you wish to order a shirt or ball cap to wear in the parade. Tee-Shirts are $10.00, ($12.00 for the De dyed tee-shirt), Polo Shirts are $20.00 and Caps are $15.00. If you order and pay at the dinner, the shirts should be ready for pickup at the June Social. Ted Richmond We also will be discussing the July Social as a Meet & Greet for men who have accepted an invitadon to meet our membership so hopefully many of us will be able to akend the July Social. Mark your calendars now for June 24 th Parade & FesDval. DecoraDng the cars will be at 9:00 am at West 7 th and Central. Booth set up will be at 9:00 am at Sawyer Point. Parade steps off at 11:00, FesDval starts at 12:00. We have so much to offer our brothers in the community and it takes the support and Dme of each of us to let them know we are here!
