Frequently Asked Questions I don t want to grow Clearfield canola because I want re-cropping flexibility the next year. What are my options? There are other chemistry options that allow growers to seed non-clearfield canola the following season Solo ADV for example. I can t grow winter wheat or durum wheat if I use Ares herbicide. Is there another herbicide I can use? There are other chemistry options, including Solo ADV, that can be used if you want to seed winter wheat in the fall, and Odyssey Ultra can be used if durum wheat is a concern the following season.

Frequently Asked Questions I like to save Group 2 chemistry for pulse and cereal crops. It is a good practice to rotate herbicide chemistry; however, there are lots of options in these crops to tank mix with other herbicide groups to manage resistance. How do I control Clearfield canola volunteers in my pulses? We recommend a pre-seed application of Heat LQ to manage canola volunteers early in the spring. Viper ADV also controls volunteer Clearfield canola in field peas. I can t use Ares herbicide if I want to underseed alfalfa. What options do I have in this situation? Odyssey Ultra can be used if underseeding alfalfa.
