Bath is magical at any time of year and yet during the festive season, it really comes into its own. Take a dip in the Thermae Bath Spa s rooftop pool under a romantic star-filled sky, stock up on Christmas goodies at the wooden chalets, decorated with twinkling fairy lights and set against the backdrop of Bath Abbey, during the city s much-loved Christmas Market, or dance the night away in our own vaulted Igloo events space, which comes complete with ice-block-effect bar and Northern Lights-inspired lighting. Once you ve pounded the 2000-year-old pavements and seen the sights, you can join us for a restorative tipple or two, or creative cocktails in our vibrant ArtBar before a fabulous festive feast in our Allium restaurant. Tis the season to eat, drink, and be merry after all, so we look forward to welcoming you for the festive celebrations. Drop into the Abbey for carols, hit the best of the independent boutiques, and head to the Theatre Royal Bath for some top, Oh yes he did, panto action.

Christmas Packages 3 The Abbey Noel Festive Escapes Three-night Christmas break Treat yourself to a truly indulgent festive escape, with our all-inclusive three-night break, arriving on Christmas Eve. Christmas Eve is traditionally one of the most exciting days of the year, and from the moment you arrive, we want your Abbey Hotel, Bath experience to be a memorable one. Our three-night Christmas escape combines festive entertainment and activities a-plenty with lots of time to relax with families and loved ones, without worrying about who s doing the cooking or serving the drinks. Meals, drinks and festivities are included as detailed below, while guests also have the opportunity to choose between a matinee performance of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at the Theatre Royal Bath on Boxing Day, or a float around in the world-renowned Thermae Bath Spa on 24 th or 27 th December. CHRISTMAS EVE SUNDAY 24 TH DECEMBER Arrive at your leisure from 3pm, settle into your room and start as you mean to go on with a decadent cream tea and mince pies. We d recommend some last-minute shopping, a city stroll, or you can relax in the mineral-rich waters of the Thermae Bath Spa we ll happily arrange complimentary tickets as part of your stay with us. You ll find festive entertainment and pre-dinner fizz being served in Artbar from 7pm, along with the chance to mingle with our other guests, before enjoying a three-course dinner in Allium. After dinner you can unwind in ArtBar or continue the party with our resident DJ in the Alpine-themed Après-Ski Bar. There s also a very special Midnight Mass service at Bath Abbey with the Abbey Choir, after which we ll have mulled wine and mince pies awaiting your return. Christmas Packages 4 The Abbey Noel CHRISTMAS DAY MONDAY 25 TH DECEMBER A very happy Christmas! Enjoy a leisurely Christmas breakfast between 8-10.30am, after which you can join us for a festive treasure hunt, or soak up the sights of beautiful Bath at Christmas and work up an appetite for lunch. A four-course lunch will be served between 12noon-4.30pm, and we ll reserve you a table at your preferred time ahead of your stay. As befits the occasion, there ll be a Champagne reception in ArtBar to get you in fine festive spirits for your four-course Christmas feast - expertly created by our head chef, Rupert Taylor in Allium. The indulgence continues with an evening buffet, served between 7-9pm.

You can continue in laid-back vein and catch up on some much-needed R&R, hit the Boxing Day sales or blow away the cobwebs with a winter walk. Theatre lovers might want to take the opportunity to see the matinee performance of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at the Theatre Royal we ll arrange the tickets for you or you can choose the enticing option of a cream tea in the surrounds of our ArtBar from 3pm. You ll have plenty of time to relax before a glass of fizz in ArtBar and a delicious three-course dinner with coffee. Christmas Packages 7 The Abbey Noel Ring in 2018 Two-night New Year's stay With a backdrop of the Bath Abbey bells ringing in the New Year, we can t think of many better places to celebrate than the beautiful city of Bath, and whatever your plans for the night, we re fortunate to be super centrally located in the heart of the city. Join us for a Hollywood Glitz and Glamour party in Allium, which includes a decadent five-course New Year s Eve Dinner and dancing into the early hours. Or, for those looking for something a little different, our Igloo event space is being transformed into a 1970s-style extravaganza. Alternatively, if you already have your party plans in place or are in Bath to visit friends or family, our room rates come with a delicious and hearty breakfast or brunch to kick-start your New Year as you mean to go on! Meals and entertainment are included as detailed on the next few pages and our reservations team will be happy to help with additional nights or any special requests you may have.

Christmas Packages 8 The Abbey Noel You can choose to arrive on either 30th or 31st December and included within your break is two nights accommodation and breakfast on both mornings. You can indulge in a decadent cream tea - served between 3-5pm - on New Year s Eve and see in the New Year in style at either our Hollywood Glitz and Glamour or 70s party, which also include dinner. You can also enjoy dinner in Allium with a half bottle of wine per person on the additional night of your stay (either the 30th December or 1st January). SATURDAY 30 TH DECEMBER Arrive at your leisure from 3pm, and spend some time exploring the city; see some of the beautiful sights, float around in the wonderfully warm waters of the Thermae Bath Spa or make a beeline for Bath s brilliantly unique boutiques and shops. SUNDAY 31 ST DECEMBER Start your day with a leisurely breakfast and then the rest of the day is yours to enjoy! For arriving guests, check in at any time to make the most of your break in Bath: soak up the beauty of the architecture, stroll around the charming cobbled streets and explore the city s best-loved attractions. (Rooms are guaranteed from 3pm but if you d like to check in earlier and your room is not quite ready, we can store your luggage for you). Cream tea will be served from 3-5pm in our ArtBar, so you can drop in at a time to suit.

Our Hollywood Glitz and Glamour evening is the ideal excuse to dress up, drink cocktails, eat amazing food and dance the night away in starlet style. While down in Igloo, you can shimmy into fabulous flares or psychedelic florals and don your platforms for a 70s extravaganza. Arrive at 8pm for welcome cocktails, dinner will be served at 8.45pm, and from 10pm until 1am the respective parties will be in full swing!
