Striped German 78 days. S to Bacterial leaf spot, gray wall, FCR and TYLC. Indeterminate plant. Large yellow fruit with red streaks. Note# Since these are open-pollinated varieties, many are also available from other companies or individuals. Some have developed their own strains of a certain variety. Most heirlooms, especially the larger-fruited varieties, are extremely susceptible to cracking. So most growers will find it best not to water or fertilize heavily when there is fruit on the plants.
