Based in the heart of Brighton, Komedia is a live entertainment venue which presents one of the largest, most diverse arts and entertainment programmes in the UK. Every year we put on around 700 performances of comedy, music, cabaret and kids shows. We are also Winner of Chortle Awards Best Comedy Venue in the South an unprecedented 11 times. We re also home to the famous Krater Comedy Club, not to mention several of Brighton s most popular club nights. All taking place under one roof, Komedia incorporates two exciting, unique performance spaces with flexible set-ups and a kitchen serving freshly prepared food if required, available for hire both day and night to suit a multitude of occasions and events. Location Komedia is situated in the North Laine, in the heart of Brighton s Cultural Quarter. We re a two minute walk from Brighton s Royal Pavilion and very close to Brighton Station. Car parking is available 24 hours a day at the NCP North Road and Church Street car parks, both within a two minute walk of Komedia.
Komedia Brighton provides everything that you need to host your own event. Included in every hire fee is the following: Experienced events team to meet you prior to your event, ensuring you get the best possible service and experience for you and your guests. All technical equipment (as per technical specification - available on request), including professional quality sound system, lights, projectors and screens. All staff for the event including an experienced operations team and / or security and box office staff if required.
Additional options include: With years of experience in the entertainment industry behind us, our team can source the very best live acts to provide the perfect entertainment at your event should you require this. Be it a comedian, a band, a cabaret act, or a DJ, just let us know your requirements. Komedia has full in house catering and our experienced kitchen team can prepare freshly prepared food ranging from canapés and buffets to lunches and three course dinners, all freshly prepared on site by our dedicated team. Both our spaces are highly flexible and can accommodate a variety of events, no matter how specific the requirements. Main Space Home to the Krater Comedy Club, the Main Space boasts one of the best sound, lighting and AV set ups in Brighton and has been awarded the Chortle award for Best Venue an unprecedented 11 times.
