Distillery is a Double Gold award-winning distillery established in 2008 and located in Richmond, Virginia, created by proprietors and lifelong friends Jay Carpenter and David Cuttino. While tailgating at a Virginia Tech football game and enjoying a respected brand-name bourbon, we decided that if we combined our innate talents and passions for fine whiskey we could produce a highly exceptional whiskey that reflected our Virginia roots and desire to bring our friends and family together. Just like that, was born. Instead of pushing a volume product to market we chose to focus on creating three unique whiskies that embodied our discerning palates, local ingredients, and Southern culture. Our dedication to those goals meant sacrificing output for unassailable quality. uses an in-house, customized potstill, and we meticulously measure the heads to ensure our process remains faithful to the true character of the hearts. All of our mash bills are 100% expressions of the finest locally-sourced grain. Our Wheat Whiskey is 100% wheat. Our Rye Whiskey is 100% rye. Our Bourbon is 100% corn. We are able to produce an extraordinary aged profile by using small barrels, which increases the surface area to distillate ratio and allows for faster, comprehensive aging. Unlike other brands focused on quantity, does not follow a set schedule for aging; instead, we personally taste every barrel to determine when it is ready. In fact, we will age some 5-gallon barrels as long as two years which is the equivalent to 15 or more years in a 53-gallon barrel. Whiskey changes flavor profiles depending on proof and temperature, so we proof every bottle to 100 so that individuals can adjust the whiskey to suit their particular tastes. It takes a personal touch to make an exceptional whiskey, and just like our distilling process, our bottling procedures are hands-on and end with each bottle being personally signed by one of our dedicated distillers. s goal is to provide our customers with impeccably crafted products and, hopefully, an experience that enhances their lives. If you are new to and our products, we recommend tasting the Wheat Whiskey first, followed by the Bourbon, and finally the Rye. Begin with the Wheat because it is lighter and will be overwhelmed by the smokier and more pronounced Bourbon and Rye. The Rye comes last because it is simply so big and complex it dominates the palate. Please feel free to get in touch with us any time if you have questions about any of our products and how to enjoy them!

Wheat Whiskey When we first created our Wheat Whiskey, only two other American distillers were making this expression. Our first experience with wheat was while producing a four grain bourbon. It captured our senses and imagination, and we began to wonder what a pure Wheat Whiskey would taste like. At a 100% wheat mashbill, our Wheat Whiskey is the softest of our three expressions and unlike any other American style whiskey on the market. Discovering that wheat produces a buttery, savory, and smooth whiskey, it has proven to be an excellent introductory whiskey for those not experienced in barrel aged bourbons. We ve deemed it our Beginner Bourbon. If you are drawn to the smoothness of a wheated bourbon, you will fall in love with our 100% wheat mash bill. Our expression is bottled at 100 proof/50%abv so that you can proof the spirit down to your liking and taste. We recommend trying our Wheat Whiskey neat to establish a baseline, then adding a touch of water or a single ice cube to temper the proof. Our Tasting Notes: Pour neat with a splash of water to blossom and mellow in the glass. Nose: Port, hint of oak, honey, and caramel notes Palate: Velvet texture, sweet but not cloying given the lack of corn, perfumed notes of rose petals Finish: Orange peels, herbaceous, and honeyed with a long lasting mouth feel Jim Murray s Whisky Bible 2017: 87.5 Rating Individual Awards 2012 Gold American Craft Whiskey San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2013 Double Gold American Craft Whiskey San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2014 Silver American Craft Whiskey San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2016 Silver American Craft Whiskey NY World Wine & Spirits Competition

Bourbon Whiskey Born from a trip with friends and a declaration that we could do tradition one better, our Bourbon is a one of a kind, 100% corn mash bill. We take that baseline of a great Bourbon and turn it up all the way, producing a big, bright profile. Though most bourbons add a rye component to the mash bill for additional flavor or, to a lesser extent, wheat trusts the full force of local corn and deep aging in our small barrels to produce a unique bourbon that is different from any other product available on the market. Our Bourbon is the most traditional yet unique whiskey in our house expressions. It s a beautiful midpoint balance of sweet between the softness of the Wheat and the sharp grain of the Rye. Appealing to experienced whiskey hunters and the novice alike. Built to be bigger than the average Bourbon, our expression is bottled at 100 proof/50%abv so that you can proof the spirit down to your liking and taste. We recommend trying our Bourbon Whiskey neat to establish a baseline, then adding a touch of water or a single ice cube to temper the proof. Our Tasting Notes: Pour neat with a single cube sweating allowing the whiskey to open over the course of time Nose: Vanilla, chalk, corn and toast Palate: Char, pencil shavings, coffee and pecan with a medium to full body Finish: Tobacco leaf transitioning into a sweet cherry finish that lingers Jim Murray s Whiskey Bible 2017: 93.5 rating Individual Awards 2012 Bronze Small Batch 10ys & Younger San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2013 Double Gold 11+ Years and Older San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2014 Silver 11+ Years and Older San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2016 Silver 11+ Years and Older San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2016 Gold 11+ Years and Older NY World Wine & Spirits Competition 2016 Silver Bourbon Whiskey New York International Spirits Competition 2016 Virginia Bourbon Distillery of the Year New York International Spirits Competition

Rye Whiskey We are proud to be one of the few distilleries to distill, age and bottle our own Rye Whiskey. The most difficult of the grains to work with, Rye grain wreaks havoc on equipment, producing the least amount of alcohol yet giving birth to the most complex of all the whiskies. Our first Double Gold-winning whiskey, the Rye, is what we call our Adult Swim whiskey. Big and complex, it dominates the Wheat and Bourbon expressions. Experienced bourbon and scotch drinkers looking for something new will find our Rye more than satisfies. In the crowded world of High Ryes on the market, we are proud to offer the highest with a 100% rye mash bill. It gives an intense, sharp grainy profile that is not too sweet. Our expression is bottled at 100 proof/50%abv so that you can proof the spirit down to your liking and taste. We recommend trying our Rye Whiskey neat to establish a baseline, then adding a touch of water or a single ice cube to temper the proof. Our Tasting Notes: Pour neat with a drop to open up to taste but savor over time as she develops on her own terms Nose: Honey and crème brulee, rye spice and yeast, some orange peel/citrus perhaps Palate: Sweet notes of dark chocolate, anise, spicy with pepper Finish: Resolves into a dry finish leaving cola and molasses on the tongue, classic rye shortstop Jim Murray s Whisky Bible 2017: 95.5 Rating Individual Awards 2012 Double Gold American Straight Rye San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2014 Silver American Straight Rye San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2016 Silver American Straight Rye San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2016 Silver American Straight Rye NY World Wine & Spirits Competition 2016 Brons American Spirits Other Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival

Mixology The invention of the cocktail was to mask bad whiskey. With we have whiskies that are big enough to punch through that recipe of masking agents and enhance the cocktail. Traditional masterpieces such as the Manhattan and a Whiskey Sour are greatly enhanced by s larger than life profiles. Check our home base of www.distillery.com for cocktails created by master mixologists from around the world. One of the most unique aspects of Distillery is the 100% mashbills that produce a pure note of each grain type. This allows any individual, bartender or enthusiast to become their own master blender. One can recreate or create any American style mashbill they desire by simply ratioing our three whiskies together in a glass. A master mixologist may, with knowledge of her patron s palate, design and build specific mashbills geared for an individual. By extension through our barrel and custom whiskey program, an individual premise may contract to create their own custom mash bill without the delay of barreling by blending our already aged independent grain barrels. Pricing is dependent upon the project and considered on a case by case basis. Please contact us at 804-912-2621 or email info@reservoirdistillery.com for further information
