Tea Selection BLACK Single Estate English Breakfast Satemwa Estate, Shire Highlands, Malawi Hand-crafted black tea from a small, independent estate in the Shire Highlands. Deep, rich and malty, it has notes of caramel and burnt sugar. Delicious black, becoming sweet and chocolaty with the addition of milk. Earl Grey Satemwa Estate, Malawi and Reggio Calabria, Italy A traditional Earl Grey blended with single estate black tea and pure bergamot oil. A clean and exceptionally bright infusion with exhilarating citrus notes. It can be enjoyed with or without milk, or a twist of lemon zest. 2nd Flush Muscatel Darjeeling Makaibari Estate, Darjeeling, India A highly fragrant black tea picked in the foothills of the Himalayas on one of the oldest esates in Darjeeling. This tea has a heady, floral aroma with soft notes of muscatel grapes. Best enjoyed without milk. Cloud Tea LaKyrsiew Garden, Meghalaya, India A tea from the Abode of Clouds - high in the cloudy hills between Assam and Darjeeling. Light and floral as a Darjeeling with the rich caramel and malty notes of the best Assam. This harvest has expectional notes of apricot. Best enjoyed without milk.
OOLONG Tie Guan Yin Anxi, China This Chinese oolong is crafted to an exact point at which the leaves reveal their hidden subtleties. It has rich floral aromas leading to a perfectly balanced mineral finish. The first infusion has a succulent sweetness with later infusions leading to green floral notes. Each time you infuse the leaves different subtleties are revealed. GREEN Monkey Paw Fuding, Fujian Province, China Hand-crafted in a wok to preserve the whole leaves and buds. Made from the soft new leaves of spring it is called Monkey Paw after the resemblence of the delicate, curled, downy buds it contains. Convincing with a clean refreshing flavour which elegantly balances gentle vegetal notes and a smooth sweetness. Dragonwell - Longjing Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China The most succulent and fragrant of green China Teas. Picked in the early spring before the first rains, it has a fresh sweetness with rich green vegetal flavours and a subtle notes of hazelnuts. Malawi Steamed Green Satemwa Estate, Shire Highlands, Malawi This is a very rare African green tea steamed in a traditional Japanese style. Made from original Chinese seed taken from Fujian to Malwai by the way of the Royal Botanical gardens of Edinburgh in 1921. The flavour is succulent and extremely rich with high tannins. Can be beautifully enhanced with the addition of honey, maple syrup or a twist of lemon.

The tea is not flavoured but carefully scented over six consecutive nights with fresh jasmine flowers. Once the preserve of only the Chinese Imperial family. A deep and heady aroma with a light and gentle flavour. White Silver Tip Fuding, Fujian Province, China The most prized of all white teas, it is crafted entirely from tender spring buds, high in the remote mountains of Fujian. Picked for only twenty days of the year, just before the buds unfurl to the first new leaves. Remarkably delicate, with the sweetness of spring long stored over winter. Malawi White Peony Satemwa Estate, Shire Highlands, Malawi A fragrant, beautiful whole leaf white tea. Picked from unique fields in Malawi and carefully hand-crafted to retain sublime flavours.

Clean and subtle, these flowers are also wonderfully calming and, of course, caffeine free. Cornish Peppermint Tregothnan Estate, Cornwall, UK A rare English peppermint grown on the private botanical garden of the Tregothnan Estate. Counterintuitively, the menthol oils infuse more easily from the dried leaf, giving a brighter, cleaner flavour than fresh mint. Wild Rooibos Cederberg Mountains, South Africa The real South African Red Bush. A richly delicious infusion with deep earthy notes, bright red berries and cedar. Can be beautifully enhanced by the addition of a twist of lemon zest. Lemongrass Amba Gardens, Sri Lanka With hints of lemon drops and a rounded, hay-like body, this infusion makes a perfect pick-me-up. Hand-made the lemongrass is cut, dried and packed on the farm to preserve its unique flavour. Hibiscus Flowers A delicious herbal infusion made from the red petals of Hibiscus Sabdariffa. The raspberry red infusion is rich in flavours of berries, slightly tart, but with a cranberry sweet finish. Sweet Cicely Forests of Jutland, Denmark A blend of wild foraged sweet cicely from Jutland and lemon verbena. This herbal infusion has a soft lemon base with subtle green anise notes. It is wonderfully clean and reviving as a digestif as well as being an elegant pairing with food.
