THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 201 5 6:00 TO 9:00 PM Chef Participation Opportunity Save the Chimps will host its 7th annual Chimps Kitchen event at Cobalt at the Vero Beach Hotel and Spa on Thursday, November 5, 2015. This exciting event is one of the most anticipated fundraisers of the season. Last year s event raised over $100,000 thanks to hundreds of guests who attended and were able to sample delicious tastings donated by local Chefs, Banana Daiquiris sponsored by Cruzan Rum, and bid on a wide selection of wonderful auction items. All proceeds benefitted the more than 250 chimpanzees living in permanent sanctuary at Save the Chimps. Join fellow chefs such as Executive Chef Rachel Bourdon of Cobalt, Chef Ron Adams of Bobby s, Pastry Chef Timothy Blouin & Sous Chef Golan Fuchf of Grand Harbor, Chef Ben Tench of The Moorings Yacht & Country Club, Executive Chef Stephane Becht & Sous Chef Joel Drapeau of Windsor, and Pastry Chefs Ashlee & Ryan Wykoff of Frosting as they sample their finest signature dish to nearly 300 attendees from along the Treasure Coast and beyond. Please review our agreement that outlines both the benefits and responsibilities of being a participant. Event Agreement The Chef/Restaurant agrees to provide Save the Chimps with the following: Prepare samplings of a signature dish for 300 guests; Bring all necessary equipment to serve, hold, and display their signature dish plus 1 2 assistants to serve guests the night of the event; Remain on site until the event has ended; Submit company logo due by September 1, 2015 or sooner please; Assist in promoting the event by exhibiting event promotional materials and be available for any event related publicity; Chef may distribute brochures, cards, and promotional items at station at the event. Save the Chimps agrees to provide the Chef/Restaurant with the following: Listing as participant in pre and post event press releases; Listing on Save the Chimps website and Facebook page; Be featured in all print and online promotional materials including 800 invitations. Signature Dish Form In an effort to avoid duplication, we ask that you provide the following information. Frequently Asked Questions What time can Chefs begin arriving to set up? Restaurants may begin arriving around 3:30 pm. What is the start time and end time of the event? Event begins at 6:00 pm and ends at 9:00 pm. What size table is provided? Do Chefs need to bring linens? Table size is 6 x 3 banquet table with a 6 skinny table in back to hold items if needed. Ivory linen will be provided. Is equipment provided for the chefs? Chefs to provide their own plates/utensils (extras will be provided if needed). Do we get to meet the chimps? Yes, of course, but at the Sanctuary. It would be our pleasure to offer you and six (6) guests a private tour of the Sanctuary. The chimps would like to thank you for all your support!
