Turkey s Largest Food and Drink Exhibition On the 5-8 September 2013, Turkey's dedicated food and drink exhibition took place in Istanbul. In its 21st edition the event once again confirmed its status as an effective route to the Turkish market. For many international companies, the event offers an opportunity to meet large numbers of targeted visitors in a short space of time. 2013 Event Highlights The event was official opened by Mehmet Kutbettin Arzu, the Turkish Assistant Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock. Hosted buyer delegations from Greece, Azerbaijan and Iran, as well as decision makers from the Middle East, the Balkans and Africa, attended the event. World Cezve Ibrik Championship. National champion baristas from the USA, Austria, the UK, Greece, Romania, Norway, Italy and Turkey competed in the international distinguished competition. Winner, Turgay Yildizlt from Turkey, demonstrated the best coffee brewing skill set. Co-located Events WorldFood Istanbul promotes inter-industry networking, as Ingredients Turkey and Ipack Turkey exhibitions run alongside the event.
