Host a De la Gente Coffee Fundraiser Raising money has never been so delicious! Over 60% of Americans drink at least one cup of a coffee a day, therefore holding a coffee fundraiser is a fantastic way to supply your friends and family with their daily caffeine needs while raising funds for your organization or school trip. With our exceptional freshly roasted specialty coffee, you can offer a product that delivers benefits to both sides of the cup great tasting coffee for your friends and all of the profits go directly to the farmer. Top 5 reasons why it s great to hold a coffee fundraiser: No risk and good profits Our coffee fundraising program is a pre-sale program that doesn t require upfront fees or purchases. You will raise around $3 for every bag of coffee sold! Simple Once you ve received your order form and information sheet from De la Gente you are ready to go! Roasted to order We only roast to order to keep our coffee as fresh as possible High quality coffee We only use the highest quality beans Making a difference Just through the purchase and sales of our coffee you are helping to change the lives of Guatemalan coffee farmers and their families How does the De la Gente coffee sale work? Contact us to request a coffee order form Distribute the forms and information amongst your group members, friends, family, colleagues and school Collect their coffee orders and payments Submit the total order to sales@dlgcoffee.org Once your order is paid for it will be shipped and you will receive it within 2 weeks Once you receive your coffee, you can distribute it to your participants (and thank them for their support!) You now have the funds raised from the sale to use for whatever event, trip or purchase your organization is planning 3

Frequently Asked Questions Who can do a De la Gente coffee fundraiser? Everybody! Get your sports team, church, office, community group or school involved in the fun. I m ready! How do I let De la Gente know? Email sales@dlgcoffee.org to request your Coffee Fundraising Form. This will make taking orders from your friends much easier. How much can I raise through a fundraiser? Each bag of coffee costs you $9, and you can choose how much you mark-up the price of the coffee to maximize your funds raised. We normally sell this coffee at $12 a bag, which would give you a profit of $3 for every bag of coffee you sell. How do I order the coffee? There are two ways to order your coffee: 1. You can pre-sell the coffee to your supporters and then order it from us 2. You can order the coffee from De la Gente upfront to then re-sell The first option will work better for you if you are doing door-to-door sales and taking orders. If you will be selling the coffee at an event, the second option will work better as you can have the coffee delivered in time to sell at your event. You can also do a mixture of both methods to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. How can I promote the fundraiser? Ask all of your friends, family, colleagues, and neighbors to order their coffee with you explain why you are doing the fundraiser and what difference their purchase will make to your organization and to the people in Guatemala. Try different methods of communications to reach the maximum number of people through email, in person, and social media creating a Facebook event is great way to promote your fundraising. 4

About Us OUR HISTORY De la Gente s mission is to create economic opportunity in coffee communities. While many small-holder farmers produce high quality coffee, they are often excluded from the coffee market and unable to benefit from the value they create. Many consumers would like to enjoy great coffee direct from farmers, but don t find such coffee easily available. De la Gente is about creating better coffee and better lives by connecting the people who grow coffee and those who drink it. We like to say that there s an opportunity in every bean. OUR PRODUCT Our coffee comes directly from cooperatives of small producers who cultivate and process their coffee with pride and care. All coffee conforms to the highest specialty standards, meaning that we only offer the best coffee out there. We also only roast to order, meaning that our coffee is always fresh. 5

The Coffee Our bag is design to communicate an artisanal feel to the product, and to explain the unique story of this coffee. Paper packaging for an artisanal feel and paper is compostable Summary of our philosophy More detailed information on the back Weight Roast Origin 6
