FOR ME R LY T H E G R I L L ROOM, E S TAB L I S H E D 1 865 This legendary room, frequented by luminaries such as Oscar Wilde, George Bernard Shaw and Virginia Woolf, has been intelligently and thoughtfully restored to its original splendour. The ceiling is an ornate Louis XVI style with elaborate gold leaf detailing and enriched panelled mouldings. The wonderful interplay of light reflecting from the mirrored walls gives a heightened sense of space and drama. The Oscar Wilde Bar pays tribute to the rich heritage and history of excellent hospitality and dining at Café Royal. Exceptional food, using the best ingredients, is complemented by a selection of the finest Champagnes, cocktails, spirits and wines.
