Halal Wine OUR HISTORY Everything began over six generations ago in 1834, with an act of irreverence and audacity from our partner. It went from being in just one region to the whole country; a Family of wines. Aware of the consumer s new concerns and trends, and with the purpose of creating more consumption situations, we decided to launch Halal wine 0.0% Alcohol. It is an alcohol-free wine (due to de-alcoholization physical process), addressed to wine lovers who, due to the most various reasons, and in particular situations, prefer to drink a nonalcoholic wine. Our partner is the oldest and one of the most prestigious wineries in Portugal, producing wines, Port and Setúbal Moscatel. With over 650 hectares of land under vine in our main wine regions: Península de Setúbal, Alentejo and Douro, In a covered area of 9000 m2, with a 6.5-million-liter capacity distributed over 513 tanks of various sizes and an almost entirely automated operation, the most advanced technology coexists alongside traditional methods, like the old wine presses and vertical presses, the latter dating from the early 1900's. Under the leadership of the first Portuguese enologist to graduate from the recognized University of Davis in California - a team of hand-picked enologists are responsible for undertaking a wide range of research, studies, experiments and innovation that make a pioneer in much of what is done in terms of winemaking in Portugal and in the world. Continuing to invest in benchmark products at international level, always produced to the highest standard, our partner has contributed decisively to the promotion and prestige of national wines. The nearly 650 hectares of vineyards and a winery equipped with the latest technology, which competes with the best in the world, produce wines that combine the experience gathered throughout its history with the most advanced winemaking techniques. There are various sites, each offering different climatic conditions, exposure to sunlight and type of terrain, which facilitates a
