Youth Events Package For Bar and Bat Mitzvahs and Quinceañeras With over 60 years of experience in banquets and special events, Calamigos welcomes you and your guests to share one of the most unique venues in Los Angeles. Located within the Los Angeles Equestrian Center, Calamigos Equestrian s charming facilities make the ideal location for your event - quiet and secluded, yet centrally located within the historic beauty of Griffith Park. Our spacious ballrooms offer large dance floors and adjacent private patios, gardens, and waterfalls. Our Youth Events package includes A 5-hour event time 2 hours of set-up and 1 hour breakdown time Dining tables with floor-length underlays Choice of napkin & tablecloth colors Chiavari chairs Pin spot lighting for dining tables Custom floor-plans Delicious Menu options for both Adults and Young People Free parking Pricing is based on the specific ballroom selection and night, menu selection, beverage selection, and coordination fees. (Holiday pricing may vary). A Coordination Package is required for all Youth events $5,000.00. It includes pre-event planning and coordination, an event coordinator, wait staff, floor supervisors, food attendants and runners, bathroom attendants, security personnel, and cleaning crew fees. CALAMIGOS STANDARD POLICIES Event Hours & Set-up & Breakdown Times Events are based on 5 hours. Afternoon events are scheduled from 11:00am 4:00pm. Evening events begin at 6:00pm. Evening events may extend the 5 hour time with an additional charge of $600 per additional hour paid in advance. 1:00am is the latest for any event. Set-up time is 2 hours prior to standard event start time. An hour after the event is provided for breakdown. Additional fees will apply for any additional hours requested for set-up (based on hours needed). Breakdown and load out of all décor, rental, entertainment items etc... must occur the evening of event. Decoration Place cards, party favors, centerpieces, etc. are the responsibility of the client. Nothing may be nailed, taped or stapled to the walls, ceilings or windows. A fire permit must be presented for Candles used as centerpieces. Calamigos does not assume any responsibility for items left on the premises prior to or following the event. No confetti, marbles, pebbles, rice or items of the like, smoke machines, bubble machines or fireworks (including sparklers) are permitted. All décor needs to be picked up evening of event. Rental items brought on to facility must be approved by facility. Drop off and breakdown must be prearranged with facility. Food and Beverage All the food catered for each event is prepared by Calamigos. The client will be charged for the minimum of the room assigned, or the final guest count, whichever is greater. All guests in attendance must have a meal. No one is allowed in for the entertainment portion only. No food or beverage may be brought onto or taken off the premises except for the cake. The cake must be provided by a licensed and insured establishment. Final Guarantee & Final Payment At least fourteen (14) days prior to the event, a final count of attendance is due. Calamigos will charge for the final guaranteed number of guests or the actual number of guests in attendance whichever is greater. If guest count increases within five (5) days prior to the event, Calamigos may impose an extra charge for each additional person. Calamigos shall not be required to prepare food for any more than the number of persons confirmed. No menu or linen changes will be accepted less than 14 days prior to the event. Service Charge & Sales Tax A 20% service charge and current sales tax will be added to the cost of all food and beverage as well as rental and labor fees. The 20% service charge is subject to sales tax in accordance with California State Board of Equalization regulation #1603. Alcoholic Beverages Alcoholic beverages must be dispensed by Calamigos staff only. The client agrees to abide by all existing federal, state and local statutes regarding alcohol consumption. Any outside Wine or Champagne will be subject to approval and corkage fee. Absolutely no outside liquor or spirits are permitted on the property. Security Calamigos reserves the right to require security for events where size, program or nature indicates such a need. Security officers will be obtained by Calamigos at the expense of the client. A security deposit may apply. Damage Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Events 2001, Inc., Calamigos, LAEC, their employees and affiliates and assume any responsibility for damage or property loss.
