Like all comfort food, the presentation is relaxed and many come back for seconds. Served in a large bowl with fresh baguette slices and herb compound butter. Stout Braised Beef over Cheese Grits A flavorful cut of lean beef braised for hours in a rich, stout beer sauce with warm spices, carrots, onions and butternut squash served over Bear s Mill cheese grits. Coq Au Vin Slow braised chicken 1/2 breasts, thighs and legs simmered for hours in a rich red wine sauce with bacon, pearl onions, garlic, mushrooms and fresh herbs. Served over hot buttered egg noodles Pork Cassoulet Ham hocks, fresh pork shoulder, spicy sausage, and great northern beans simmered all day in a white wine sauce with fresh herbs, carrots, celery and garlic, then topped with bread crumbs and served casserole style.
