Anytime Dining Every Resident Dining Plan includes unlimited access to campus dining halls Come in to any dining hall, any time we re open, any number of times a day, and enjoy any thing we re serving. That s it; anywhere, anytime, with any frequency, anything there s no fine print!
Dining Hall Access Anytime Dining Members enter the dining halls using touchless biometric technology; they enroll in the system during Orientation or during move-in. Any number of times per day unlimited entry to the dining hall any time we are open. Dine in encourages community building and student interaction.
Students in traditional residence halls have four plan options: Premium Preferred Base Plus Base Concerned that you might not have the right plan? Changes are allowed for the first month of the semester!

Why would I want Dining Dollars? To change things up: Sure, the dining halls serve a huge variety of great food but sometimes you want a change of pace! On campus, Chick fil-a, Subway, Sbarro, Auntie Anne s, and Taco Bell accept Dining Dollars. Get snacks for your room - or shampoo, or a spiral notebook from a campus c-shop. Enjoy fresh sushi or Starbucks from a cafe near your class.
IS THERE AN ADVANTAGE TO DINING DOLLARS? Yes of course there is! When you buy Dining Dollars you always get a discount. When you use Dining Dollars you never pay tax. Dining Dollars go on your Student Account and can be included in your Terp Payment Plan..

Food for thought Guest Passes can be used in any of the three resident dining halls. Anytime Access, Guest Passes and Dining Dollars expire at the end of each semester. The Dining Services Rights and Responsibilities are part of the UMD Code of Conduct. Visit dining.umd.edu/conduct for details.

More Food for Thought Each dining hall has over a dozen food stations try something different. We serve healthful entrées, vegetables, fruit, and sides all day long. When you are in evening classes, you may want to make lunch your main meal of the day. Ask for the Manager on Duty if you have a question. The best way to have your concern addressed is to speak up immediately! Fall Welcome: Dining plans for New-to- Housing students provide access during Fall Welcome (Thursday, August 24, 11:00 am to Saturday August 26, 10:00 am when all Dining Plans are activated).

Allergies and Intolerances Students will receive a Dining at Maryland package this summer containing information about contacting our nutritionist. Nutrition information online and posted menus provide accurate, reliable allergen information. Student Employment Dining Services employs over 400 students per semester. Starting pay $10.25 per hour. Terrapin Express Adds debit card features to the UMD ID card, providing access to: On campus services like copiers, printers, and laundry. On campus vendors like the Book Center, Health Center, Terrapin Game Day Concessions, and all Dining venues. Terrapin Express is optional and does not replace a required resident dining plan. Add funds online, by phone, by mail, or in person using credit card, check, or cash. Cannot be billed to a student account. Check Terrapin Express account transactions and balances online in real time at terpexpress.umd.edu
