Previous Editions Amazing success of the previous two editions of Barolo & Friends in Geneva: Both in 2012 and 2013, there were some twenty wine producers and four food farming producers; both editions were visited by some 400 visitors, including trade professionals and wine lovers. 2
Location Restaurant La Fumisterie: renowned restaurant of Carouge (the Italian neighbourhood of Geneva), managed by a Piedmontese chef. It boasts an important wine list with a big number of Piedmontese labels. The environment is modern and cosy. Inside the location, there will be a set design dedicated to Piemdont where a maxi screen will be projecting a video featuring the most beautiful pictures of the region. 3

Ethic Lottery: Adopt a Food Garden in Africa Among the features of the 2014 edition, there is the Ethic Lottery: Adopt a Food Garden in Africa, a contest with prizes which will give contestants the opportunity to win holidays in Piedmont, various food and wine products, Slow Food publications, free tickets to Salone del Gusto, the Torino taste fair, and design objects Alessi, who supports the project with the Consortium. Tickets will be sold during the session open to the public and part of the revenue will be given to the Slow Food Foundation for Biodiversity to support the project 10,000 Food Gardens in Africa, a tangible model of sustainable agriculture in the African continent 7
