General Terms and Conditions Groups The present terms and general conditions apply to all services sold by the SERAC restaurants. These General sale conditions are sent to the client together with the quote to allow him/her to make his/her booking. Any booking implies a total agreement to the present fixed terms, excluding any other documents such as flyers, commercial documents, etc. Article 1: GROUP Is considered as a group of any number over 30 persons or the price is calculated on the base of a 30 persons minimum for diners at altitude. Article 2: BOOKING DEPOSIT The company will make an option for the client as soon as an inquiry comes in giving time for the client to look at the contract. This option is held for limited time only. The option does not engage the client or the company. The establishment sets the expiry date of the option. The option becomes a proper booking at the reception of a deposit of 30% of the total estimated cost. The confirmation of the booking implies a full involvement without any reserves to the general sale conditions. All deposits will be kept in case of cancellation. An alternative offer will have to be agreed by both parties if another client confirms a reservation for the same period. Article 3: TERMS OF PAYMENT All invoices must be either - Pre-paid before the arrival of the group Upon receipt of the invoice or at least within 30 days Article 4: INSURANCES The company declines any responsibility for any damages, loss or theft of the belongings or equipment taken by clients during their visit. The organiser is responsible for any direct or indirect damages that could be done by himself or his guests during the event. Article 5: CATERING The number of people must be confirmed (letter, mail or phone) at least 72 hours before the event date. Except with an exceptional agreement between both parties, this number will be the minimum base for the invoice. On the day of the service, the group should come to the restaurant in due time with the correct number of people. In the case of later arrival of the group, the restaurant has the right to delay the service. If the delay is more than 1 hour, the reservation is no longer guaranteed. Corkage (champagne or wine): 10 per bottle. Article 6: TERMS AND MODIFICATION OF PRICES The quoted rate at the payment of the deposit is the price. Article 7: TOTAL CANCELLATION If you cancel 1 week or more before the date no further charges will be made Less than 72 hours before the date, 50 % will be invoiced Cancellation on the due day, the full price with tax will be invoiced. Article 8: PARTIAL CANCELLATION If some of the guests cancel less than 72 hours before the date, they will be invoiced at the rate of 50%. If the cancellation is done in the due day, the totality of the reservation is due. Article 9: CASE OF FORCE MAJEUR According to the weather conditions (snow, wind ) or other acts of god (technical breakdown ) the Compagnie du Mont-Blanc might be forced to cancel the lift service on the day. In the event of this happening, the restaurant would be forced to cancel in the morning of the day. The deposit will be then reimbursed to the client.
