The Food and Beverage Federation of Provence Alpes Côte d Azur

Who we are FRIAA was founded 30 years ago, and is the regional federation of agri-food industries for the Provence Alpes Côte d Azur region. It acts as a unifying structure for the region's food industry, the largest and oldest in France. It has a dual purpose: 1. To represent and defend the interests of the agri-food industry in the Provence Alpes Côte d Azur region, 2. To encourage the development of the region's SME's and small businesses both in France and abroad.

Our region: facts & figures With its rich geographical and cultural diversity, the Provence-Alpes- Côte d Azur region proposes a wide variety of local products, which have been influenced by its culinary heritage. These treasures are characterised by a myriad of colours, tastes and smells that balances perfectly tradition and modernity. The food and beverage industry (excluding the wine-producing sector) is one of the jewels in the region's economic crown: 2 nd largest industrial sector in the region, with over 37,000 employees Turnover of 7,7 billion euros More than 1,000 companies working in the processing and trade sectors Mostly medium and small businesses

We have the ability to identify producers with unique products in the above mentioned fields. We organize sourcing sessions in France based upon buyer requirements, either at a centralized location in Provence, or directly in producer premises. We guarantee the seriousness of the company proposed and also their capacity and willingness to export. Willing to propose Taste of Provence week or events abroad? We may identify products/producers able to come directly on site.
