LUISA MAYENS VÁSQUEZ RAMÍREZ Adress: Cl 37 # 28-15, Manizales, Caldas, Colombia. Cell Phone Number: 3013978734 E-mail: luisamayens@gmail.com PROFILE Agronomical engineer, Universidad de Caldas, Colombia. I like the plant health, mainly plant- pathogen interactions, resistance reactions, and epidemiology. My experience in Plant Pathology and Plant Breeding includes handling and evaluation of plant pathogens such as Root-knot nematodes (Meloidogyne incognita and M. javanica) and Coffee Rust (Hemileia vastatrix) in field and in laboratory as well. In the development of projects I have ventured into different areas from my background, working in molecular biology using basic techniques such as DNA extraction, PCR, transformation and hybridization. On the other hand my main human values include honesty, caring, friendship, respect, responsibility, perseverance and fairness; I can easily work as a team and stood out for my dedication and analytical skills.
