Owl O Ween Food Vendor Application Page 1 FOOD VENDOR COVERSHEET EVENT: OWL O WEEN DATE: OCTOBER 26, 2013 TIME: 4PM-12AM WWW.OWL-O-WEEN.COM Thank you for your interest in participating as a business vendor at Owl O Ween! 2013 will be the inaugural year for this spooktacular hot air balloon festival; a family friendly event featuring an amazing balloon glow with more than a dozen hot air balloons, trick-or-treating, harvest beer tents, local foods, roving entertainment, a Whimsical Forest kids area, and a main stage. The event will be held at KSU Sports + Recreation Park, which sits at the base of picturesque Kennesaw Mountain just 20 miles north of downtown Atlanta and less than 1 mile from both I-75 and I-575. With a population of 5.3 million, and a bonus of over 24K students attending Kennesaw State University, we expect 20K in attendance throughout the event. Application Process: Please fill out the attached application as thoroughly as possible before returning. Do not send any payments at this time. We will consider your application and notify you if you have been invited to participate in the Owl O Ween Hot air Balloon Festival. Sending in an application does not guarantee acceptance. Once accepted, you will have a maximum of 15 days to decide if you will join us at the event. If we do not hear from you and receive payment within that 15 days, the offer will be cancelled. Payment: Payment is only due once you have been accepted as a vendor for this event. We prefer payment by check or money order. If you choose to pay by credit card, there will be an additional processing fee of $35. A $50 charge will be assessed for returned checks. Make checks payable to Collegiate Concessions, LLC. Refund Policy: If withdrawal is made 45+ days prior to the event, you can receive a 50% refund on your space fee. No refunds will be given within 45 days of the event. All refund requests must be made in writing and received by our office via email. Theme: We are seeking creative vendors. Special consideration and locations will be given to any vendors who participate in Owl O Ween décor with tents/displays. Contests and prizes will be announced to vendors to encourage participation and exceptional hospitality. Please visit www.owl-o-ween.com to get a feel for the flair that we will have at this festival. Although this is a Halloween event, we are NOT looking for gory displays. Think more along the lines of vintage carnival/side show looks. Please indicate any experience or awards your business has received that will help us market your booth, and be sure to send your logo (as a vector file) so that we can have it included on our website. What We Will Provide: Booth Space, 2 (20) amp outlets, and access to water near your site. Tents, signs, equipment, tables, chairs, and décor will be your responsibility. Grease and Trash: All food vendors must provide a ground covering inside their booth and cooking space for the absorption of grease. No food vendor will be allowed to open if the cover is not in place. No grease or grey water is to be poured onto the ground or down any drains at any time. Anyone found doing this will be asked to leave. Additionally, vendors will be responsible for collecting and properly bagging trash within their sales location. Water and Ice: Please bring appropriate hoses, hose connections, and transport buckets. Menu and Pricing: Please submit your planned menu and pricing and a photo of your booth in action if possible.
