Fattorie Umbre, Our history between Tradition and Innovation. Fattorie Umbre was founded on the Family's long experience in the production of extra virgin olive oil and a desire to test the recipes and small cooking secrets of the Region: this was the origin of first homemade sauces and tomato-based prepared with genuine ingredients of the vegetable gardens from the Local farmers. Today, more than twenty seven years later, the product line includes an large variety of typical Italian products, such as Egg Pasta, Strangozzi Umbri (local kind of pasta), Grilled or Oil-packed Vegetables, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and over fifty different recipes of Sauces to satisfy every need, making them ideal condiments for creating tasty, nutritious dishes every day. We have also an Organic Line with Pesto and Tomato Sauces. The ingredients are carefully selected from the best available on the market. Our production process requires constant checks when the goods arrive and during the various stages of processing through to the finished product. We pay attention to every small detail for ensure the consistent quality that is the heart of our Products. The company is located in Calvi dell Umbria, a small medieval village on the slopes of Mount San Pancrazio, on the border with the region of Lazio, and occupies an area of about 3,600 square meters, 1,789 of which under roof. We have the latestgeneration equipment and state-of-the-art technology, which allow us to produce over 4,000 pieces an hour, thanks to Our employees, who are organized into 2 or 3 production shifts. Fattorie Umbre also supplies several of the best known Italian pasta producers, for whom we manufacture private label products. We export about 85% of our total production. Our main export markets are: Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France, Spain, Portugal, Norway, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Japan, United States, Canada and Chile. In order to ensure that the finished product is preserved for up to two years while avoiding the use of chemical preservatives, Fattorie Umbre has made the strategic choice of pasteurizing its products. Fattorie Umbre has also chosen the path of renewable energy to support production, installing a photovoltaic system in 2009. We obtained also Organic Certification and Organic Certification JAS (Japan Agricultural Standard), required to export organic goods in Japan. Our Quality System and Certificates includes: X-Ray inspection during the production process, ISO 9001:2008, IFS (International Food Standard) and BRC (British Retail Consortium).

The Tradition of Pasta-making Durum wheat and fresh eggs. A simple, natural blend conveying the taste of traditional Italian Cuisine. In order to minimize the loss of valuable nutrients, we strictly respect the traditional homemade methods of production by using a slow dehydration process at low temperature. Modern technology and packaging methods guarantee maximum hygiene. To ensure the correct grainy texture and thickness of the finished product we carefully select top quality raw materials consisting exclusively of selected durum wheat flour and fresh, pasteurized eggs as well as making use of bronze dies of varying thicknesses. It is then necessary for the drying-out process to be carried out on racks over a period of 16-20 hours.
