On The Night A huge THANK YOU to those who help us on the night, keeping the Town safe so everyone can enjoy the evening! Our Stewards on the night are all unpaid volunteers, many of who come back year after year to help! This year we are also hoping to be helped by Hertford Regional College Uniformed Public Services Students and the Events Management Students. High Street Opening Times: 6.30pm 9.30pm We have a host of wonderful stalls spread throughout the High Street and Baldock Street, stroll along and get some ideas for Christmas Presents or indulge yourselves with food & drink from the various stands along the street and inside our food court! Baldock Street The Salvation Army will be serving hot drinks & refreshments and running a stall. Thomas Birch Fairs will light up the street along with FUTUREHOPE BUS with hot drinks for teens The Old Bull s Head will be putting on a family friendly BBQ Dickensian Food Court We have a new addition to Dickensian Evening this year, a food court serving some amazing food with live music from the Simon Balle Big Band and Lip Service Location: Car Park at the rear of Byrver Flooring Clark and Blackwell Catering Gourmet Street Food Burgers, the Chefs Table Bunny Chow, House-made Curries by The Mixer and a Hop House 13 sponsored bar run by The Mixer

DICKENSIAN EVENING Information Page ROAD CLOSURES AND DIVERSIONS All Roads Closed from 6pm to 10pm Please note that the following roads will be closed officially by an order made by East Herts Council in collaboration with Hertfordshire Highways and the Police: AMWELL END, BALDOCK STREET, CHURCH STREET, EAST STREET, WEST STREET and HIGH STREET (from the junction with New Road to Priory St.) Traffic diversion signs will be in place and stewards at the closure barriers to assist emergency vehicles and any residents of the closed streets. PARKING All public car parks (except for the Library car park) will be available throughout the evening and parking in the town will be free from the early evening. If you have any special requirements which may be affected by the road closures, please let the organisers know in advance by letter to 99 New Road, Ware SG12 7BY or telephone: 01920 421466. TOILETS Toilets are located in the following places: Priory Grounds, St Mary s Church, The Drill Hall (Amwell End) Community toilets are also available in: Tesco, Spread-Eagle, Brewery Tap, Old Bull s Head and Café Frappe NOTE: Broadmeads toilets are NOT available LOST CHILDREN Lost Children Post, organised by Hertford St. John s Ambulance will be in the Priory Grounds car park.
