Azienda Agricola NADA GIUSEPPE Via Giacosa 12/a 12050 Treiso (CN) Italia Tel & Fax 0173 638110 www.nadagiuseppe.it enrico@nadagiuseppe.it Albo professionale CN 4230 IB 0048 Partita IVA 00682300041 Introduction The winery and vineyards of Nada Giuseppe are situated in Treiso, one of the 4 villages in the Barbaresco D.O.C.G. zone, where the wine Barbaresco hails from. The estate vineyards are approximately 9 hectares (22 acres) in size and includes the well known crus of Casot and Marcarini; which are two of the oldest and most prized vineyards in Treiso. In 1964, shortly before the Barbaresco D.O.C. was officially recognized in 1966, the winery made the transition from selling it's wine in bulk to estate bottling. In 1968, the family moved the winery from the old farmhouse in Casot, up the hill to Marcarini where they built a new winery. Over the years the family has continuously updated the winery throughout with technical improvements while at the same time keeping their traditional winemaking philosophy. The winery is today run by Giuseppe and Nella Nada and their daughter, Barbara and their son, Enrico, who has been the winemaker since 2008. Tasting notes by Jonathan Beagle, wine broker and wine consultant in London, UK. Enrico is clearly a talented winemaker with a lot going for him, the wines are beguiling, perfumed and complex. He certainly understands how to coax the best out of his terroir. These are wines that will age for a serious amount of time as well his 1996 Barbaresco Riserva Casot is so dense and backward that I can t see it hitting its window for at least another 5-10 years, and has the complexity and structure to age for another 20 years after that. And with his Barolo now in production as well, you can clearly see the differences between the two Big Bs but they are just as good as each other the difference is your individual palate. Stunning wines from a wonderfully talented young winemake J. Beagle

Grappa di Dolcetto e di Nebbiolo da Barbaresco Obtained by fermented grape skins, these two grappa are particularly smooth and their taste is very dry and warm. Dolcetto is more delicate, Barbaresco is stronger and its taste is long lasting, also because of its barrel refining.
